Job Overview
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager for a leading influencer gaming platform, your primary mission is to be the crucial link between our internal platform and web teams, and our dedicated game community managers and creator programs.
You'll drive seamless collaboration, ensuring that community insights and creator initiatives are at the forefront of our platform's development and marketing efforts. Integral to this role is maintaining an integrated roadmap of cross-product initiatives, advising on best practices to tie platform activations to in-game events and community moments, and ultimately maximizing the impact of our digital products and websites.
Your efforts will ensure our community feels connected, informed, and valued across all our digital touchpoints.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Strategic & Operational Bridge
- Act as the single point of contact, ensuring fluid communication and alignment between the platform/website teams, internal game community teams, and the creator programs.
- Manage and act as the primary point of contact for direct communication with creators of all sizes on key community communication platforms. This includes communicating updates of the platform, offering support to creators, and collecting their feedback and ideas.
- Gather requirements, align timelines, and proactively mitigate cross-team blockers to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a consolidated workstream roadmap that captures opportunities from all game titles and the creator programs, translating them into actionable plans for platform and website initiatives.
- Support internal community teams in providing the strategy to activate creators from each game regarding platform initiatives.
- Facilitate weekly strategic executive meetings to ensure objectives are aligned, opportunities are detected, and progress is effectively communicated.
- Community & Content Integration
- Advise on best practices for integrating digital storefront initiatives with in-game events, community activations, and creator content.
- Collaborate with the Partner Management team to define content related to the digital storefront for creators.
- Support community teams and the platform's marketing team with community strategy related to the digital storefront (posts, narratives, briefing creators for paid media assets, supporting the digital storefront team's strategy).
- Support with campaign briefs and media plans for each major activation, covering objectives, target segments, creative angles, channels, and KPIs.
- Provide creative and operational support for marketing tools, campaigns, or initiatives that leverage the digital storefront and other platform features.
- Draft comprehensive Creator Communication Guidelines, including a messaging framework, FAQ, and compliance guidelines (dos/don'ts) for content related to the digital storefront and platform.
- Operationalize and organize the digital storefront's presence/hangouts/calls/webinars with the most relevant creators, to create proximity and expand our relationship with them.
- Program Development & Analysis
- Create and document Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Community Strategist program's development and success.
- Support in the ideation and operations of permanent initiatives, in collaboration with the platform tech team and the Community Managers of each game.
- Support community teams in discovering, attracting, and prospecting new high-impact creators. Leverage this opportunity to increase traffic and new paying players to the digital storefront.
- Deliver monthly activity summaries in concise reports, detailing accomplishments, relevant metrics (e.g., cross-team collaborations facilitated, successful campaign integrations), and next-month priorities.
- Continuously provide senior-level consulting, project planning, and marketing services designed to maximize the impact of the digital storefront and other platform initiatives.
- Ongoing Learning & Adaptation
- Stay up to date on the latest updates of the platform features across all different game titles.
- Monitor and understand the latest trends across social media platforms, especially those relevant to our gaming communities and creators.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the evolving landscape of digital storefronts, websites, and community engagement strategies within the gaming industry.
Qualifications
- REQUIRED: 4+ years of experience in the gaming industry, specializing in influencer marketing, product marketing, or community management, or as a Content Creator, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- REQUIRED: Strong familiarity with the mobile gaming industry and its ecosystem.
- REQUIRED: Must be able to work on an EU schedule (although position is remote)
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships across diverse internal teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional coordination.
- High degree of accountability, ownership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable plans and communicate effectively with executive stakeholders.
- Some infrequent travel may be required for on-site stakeholder meetings
