Job Description

Company Overview:

Intel 471 empowers enterprises, government agencies, and other organizations to win the cybersecurity war using the real-time insights about adversaries, their relationships, threat patterns, and imminent attacks relevant to their businesses. The company’s platform collects, interprets, structures, and validates human-led, automation-enhanced intelligence, which fuels our external attack surface and advanced behavioral threat hunting solutions. Customers utilize this operationalized intelligence to drive a proactive response to neutralize threats and mitigate risk. Organizations across the globe leverage Intel 471’s world-class intelligence, our trusted practitioner engagement and enablement, and globally-dispersed ground expertise as their frontline guardian against the ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats to fight the adversary — and win.

The Role:

Intel 471 is looking for a Sr Director, Product Marketing to join our world-class team, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer. The role can be located in the United States or western Europe on a remote basis.

The Sr. Director of Product Marketing is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the Intel 471 go-to-market (GTM) strategy. This individual, operating as a player/coach, will lead a small, high-impact team to execute the tactics necessary to substantially increase demand and adoption for the company’s threat intelligence=driven cybersecurity solutions.

A core responsibility is the development of compelling use cases and product messaging and positioning. This requires deep market understanding to craft narratives that highlight Intel 471's unique strengths and differentiation within the competitive threat intelligence landscape. The Sr Director works in close collaboration with the Product Management team, serving as the voice of the market, to plan and flawlessly execute new product introductions (NPIs) and feature releases, ensuring internal readiness and external impact.

The successful candidate will be the content strategist, delivering superb product marketing content that forms the foundation of all successful GTM initiatives. This content must be built upon robust, well-developed messaging frameworks, clearly defined buyer personas, and comprehensive product launch plans. This role demands a thought leader who will actively evangelize—both internally across departments and externally to prospects, customers, and the broader industry—the clear benefits, value, and distinct differentiation of Intel 471 and its entire product portfolio.

This role requires a potent combination of knowledge, strategic drive, and ambition, coupled with an innate ability to collaborate and influence. To excel, the Sr Director must be an exceptional manager and leader, capable of providing clear direction, inspiring performance, and driving complex cross-functional projects forward with urgency and precision.

The ideal candidate operates as both a strategic doer and a manager, deriving satisfaction from moving large-scale organizational goals forward. A key functional requirement is the ability to masterfully translate complex technical specifications and core product capabilities into accessible, compelling insights and value propositions that can be immediately leveraged by the organization.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Market and Customer Insight: Execute rigorous market analysis to comprehend overarching market trends, evolving customer requirements, and detailed usage and buying behavior. Collaborate strategically with the Product Management Team, leveraging these insights to proactively identify market opportunities and stimulate customer demand for Intel 471's priority use cases and core intelligence-driven solutions.
  • Differentiated Messaging: Develop and own the authoritative product positioning and messaging that clearly and powerfully differentiates Intel 471 from its global competitors. This messaging must be precisely tailored to resonate with the target buyer personas across the customer organization.
  • Go-to-Market Ownership: Drive the comprehensive go-to-market strategy, collaborating closely with other functions to ensure Intel 471 is fully prepared—internally and externally—for the successful launch and scale of new solutions.
  • Content Strategy and Creation: Direct the development of audience-specific, and high-impact content designed to educate the market on Intel 471’s unique use cases and intelligence capabilities. This content spans a wide collateral spectrum, including but not limited to:
    • Website and campaign content
    • Technical and solution briefs
    • Data sheets and compelling presentations
    • In-depth whitepapers and market reports
    • Customer case studies and testimonials
    • Product demos and technical deep-dives
    • Sales playbooks and training materials
  • Competitive Intelligence: Research, monitor, and disseminate comprehensive competitive landscape intelligence, including detailed analysis of competitor offerings, messaging, and GTM strategies. This insight is critical for increasing Intel 471's win rate and informing strategic decision-making.
  • External Evangelism and Thought Leadership: Actively participate in external thought leadership activities, including creating original content for industry publications, and engaging directly with customers to highlight their successful experiences and use cases.
  • Sales Enablement and Growth Programs: Architect and build comprehensive marketing programs focused on driving growth and accelerating sales cycles. This includes developing robust sales playbooks, detailed training materials, effective objection handling scripts, and business-focused ROI (Return on Investment).
  • Team Leadership and Management: Manage, build, and lead a small but highly effective team of product marketing professionals. This includes responsibility for recruiting top talent, providing ongoing coaching and mentorship, and developing team members' skills and careers.
  • Global Engagement: Travel globally as required to support key internal meetings, customer meetings, and industry events.

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, advertising, or communications.
  • Combined product and growth marketing experience delivering highly successful user acquisition and engagement strategies within B2B or equivalent.
  • Executed market research and analysis.
  • Highly organized and adept multi-tasker with ability to quickly prioritize and effectively delegate.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills are a must, as is a relentless attention to detail and a focus on producing exceptional quality of work.
  • Strong storyteller.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.

The role will report to our Chief Marketing Officer, but will be expected to interact and work closely with other areas of the company as needed. The role is available anywhere in the United States and western Europe, with a preference for candidates located in the Eastern, Central or Mountain United States time zones or western European time zones. The role involves occasional travel within the United States, Europe and Asia and requires regular contact with our international team located in the United States, South America, Western and Eastern Europe, and Asia so a comfort working with diverse professional and cultural backgrounds is required.
