Job Description
👋 Hello from the Recruiting Team at Customer.io! We’re looking for a Contract Talent Sourcer who will be the first connection point between Customer.io and the incredible people who may one day join our team. You’ll focus on building pipelines for Revenue & GTM roles—including Sales, Customer Experience, Business Operations, People, and Marketing.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to find, engage, and nurture top talent. Your creativity, resourcefulness, and ability to build authentic connections will ensure we’re attracting diverse, high-quality candidates who are excited to learn more about Customer.io.
This role is a great fit for someone who loves the thrill of sourcing, has a knack for uncovering hidden talent, and enjoys helping candidates make a memorable first impression of our company.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively source and build pipelines of passive candidates for Revenue & GTM roles
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and team priorities
- Engage candidates through personalized outreach, social channels, referrals, and creative sourcing strategies
- Screen resumes and conduct initial outreach calls to qualify interest and alignment
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and share insights to refine sourcing strategies
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with candidates for current and future opportunities
- Represent Customer.io as the first point of contact, ensuring a thoughtful and inclusive candidate experience
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience, ideally with a focus on Revenue/GTM roles
- Proven success in engaging passive talent and building pipelines in competitive markets
- Strong knowledge of sourcing tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, social media, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a candidate-first mindset.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple pipelines at once.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and energized by connecting people to opportunity.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS or tech company.
- Familiarity with Greenhouse and Gem

Compensation
We believe in transparency. We are offering a starting hourly rate of $40/hr depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment. As a contractor, this role is not eligible for benefits.

- 45-minute video call with the Recruiting Manager
- 30-minute call with a member of the Recruiting Team
All final candidates will be asked to complete a background check and employment verifications as part of our pre-employment process.
