JOB SUMMARY: The Capital Markets Manager is responsible for the fulfillment of all investor requirements pertaining to Asset Backed Securities, Loan Sales/Forward Flow agreements, and other investors. This position works cross-functionally on key initiatives with teams such as Risk, Legal, Accounting, Sales, Business Intelligence, and Product. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Primary point of contact for loan owners for performance-related inquiries. 
    • Develop and continue to refine automated analysis of metrics to identify trends and opportunities unique to each counterparty; monitor and track all historical loan owner metrics in a centralized database or dashboard. 
    • Generate, review, and deliver monthly servicer reports to stakeholders in a timely manner. Ensure accuracy of all reporting and investor data while continuously working towards process improvement.   
    • Build out and manage a suite of financial models related to existing transaction performance, asset pricing, loan performance, and other key metrics. 
    • Discuss and strategize on potential servicing terms and amendments 
    • Create and maintain databases/lists including investor lists, transaction comparables, and data/performance. 
    • Manage day-to-day communication and due diligence requests from capital partners. 
    • Analyze and report on the performance of asset-backed transactions; propose customized remediation measures for managed portfolios to improve performance based on trend analysis. 
    • Maintain surveillance of the performance of ABS trusts and off-balance sheet portfolios and compile a dashboard with monthly trends. 
    • Collaborate with Servicing (and loan owners, where applicable) to review and recommend targeted action to improve performance. 
    • Assist members of the Capital Markets team with live transactions, including asset-backed securitizations, warehouse partnerships, and forward flow loan sales. 
    • Assist with the prospecting and development of various lending partnerships, including ABS warehouse facilities and forward flow programs 
    • Review deal Credit and Security Agreements and Term Sheets in conjunction with legal teams. 
    • Perform other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Associate’s Degree or equivalent coursework in related field required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred 
    • Minimum of 4 years in finance, debt capital markets, ABS issuer, rating agency or related quantitative field fields required; 5 years of experience strongly preferred  
    • Ability to represent the organization professionally and to cultivate and maintain relationships with funding and capital partners 
    • Excellent work ethic and willingness to contribute broadly to achieve team and company objectives 
    • Skills in SQL, Python, and Visual Basic preferred  
    • Prior experience in consumer lending preferred 
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)   
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills   
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail    
    • Outstanding problem-solving and time management skills   
    • Self-motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented  
    • Adaptable and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment   
    • Can work independently and within a team; solution-oriented with a collaborative approach  
The pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. $90,000 (entry level qualifications) to $110,000 (highly experienced).
