Wrapbook empowers production teams to manage projects, pay cast and crew, track expenses, and generate data-driven insights, while enabling workers to manage timecards, track pay, and onboard to new projects from any device. Wrapbook brings clarity and dependability to production payroll, while increasing the productivity of your whole team.
Trusted by companies of all sizes, Wrapbook powers payroll for some of the industry’s top production companies, including SMUGGLER, Tuff, and GhostRobot. Our growing team of 250+ people across the USA and Canada, including entertainment and technology experts from SAG-AFTRA, DGA, IATSE, Teamsters, Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook, and more. Wrapbook is backed by top-tier investors, including Jeffrey Katzenberg’s WndrCo, Andreessen Horowitz, and A* Capital. We have raised $130M and are in a strong financial position.
The Opportunity
Wrapbook is looking for a strong senior product leader with an entrepreneurial spirit to own the Accounts Payable product suite, enabling production companies to pay vendors and reconcile spend in a seamless, intuitive experience directly through Wrapbook.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional product leadership role with clear business impact ownership. You will define product strategy, lead a team of Product Managers, and be accountable for driving adoption, usage, and customer outcomes across the Accounts Payable domain — including driving revenue through product strategy and execution — while partnering closely with Finance and Go-To-Market teams on investment and growth decisions.
Operating as a product-first business leader, you will:
Drive product-market fit by deeply understanding accounts payable workflows and solving real customer pain points across multiple segments
Shape product strategy and roadmap tradeoffs, including evaluating new payment methods and long-term platform investments
Influence go-to-market execution, adoption goals, and product-led revenue growth, partnering with Sales, Customer Success, and Client Operations
Partner closely with Engineering, Finance, Risk, Operations, Support, and Client Operations to deliver a scalable, compliant, and durable payments capability — including shaping how the product is operationalized, launched, supported, and scaled over time — as a core differentiator of Wrapbook’s payroll platform
This role goes beyond traditional product management. Success requires strong product judgment, technical fluency in payments, and the ability to connect customer value to measurable business results while guiding shared ownership of operational outcomes through influence rather than direct authority.
What You’ll Do:
Product Strategy & Leadership
Define and execute the long-term product strategy and roadmap for the Accounts Payable product
Translate company-level strategy into clear product bets, sequencing, and tradeoffs
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers, fostering strong product judgment, accountability, and growth
Establish and maintain success metrics that tie customer outcomes to measurable business impact
Set clear expectations for product quality, delivery, and decision-making across the domain
Product Impact & Business Outcomes
Be accountable for the overall performance of the Accounts Payable product, including adoption, usage, customer impact, and driving revenue through product-led growth, while partnering with Finance, Client Ops, and Go-To-Market teams on measurement and prioritization
Use data to track and communicate product performance, including adoption metrics, usage trends, cost drivers, and revenue signals that inform investment decisions and roadmap tradeoffs
Partner closely with Finance to support forecasting, scenario modelling, and evaluation of investment options, providing product insight on pricing, margin, and P&L decisions
Identify and evaluate monetization opportunities and revenue levers, influencing pricing, packaging, and platform decisions through strong product judgment and cross-functional collaboration
Balance customer value, platform scalability, operational durability, and cost efficiency when making product investment and sequencing decisions
Cross-Functional Execution & Influence
Partner closely with Engineering to balance delivery speed, platform scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency across the Accounts Payable domain
Work with Risk, Compliance, and Legal to ensure payment flows meet regulatory, contractual, and operational requirements
Provide dotted-line leadership across Operations, Support, Customer Success, and Client Operations to ensure launches are operationally ready and support models scale effectively over time
Define and influence operational success metrics and readiness criteria to ensure new capabilities are durable, supportable, and aligned with product strategy
Influence go-to-market strategy by clearly articulating product value, target customers, and adoption paths, partnering with Sales and Go-To-Market teams to drive product-led growth
Customer & Market Insight
Act as the voice of the customer, deeply understanding accounts payable and vendor payment workflows
Stay informed on trends in B2B payments, fintech infrastructure, and adjacent markets
Use data, customer feedback, and market insights to continuously refine roadmap priorities and success criteria
What You'll Have:
7–10+ years of experience leading product in B2B payments, with deep fluency in fund flows, compliance requirements, cost drivers, and customer needs
Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable, vendor payments, or card-based payment products
Proven experience driving adoption and product-led revenue growth, including influencing pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategy through strong product judgment and cross-functional partnership
Demonstrated ability to connect product strategy to financial outcomes, balancing customer value, delivery speed, platform investment, and cost efficiency
Strong execution experience, including standing up or evolving team structures, operational processes, and cross-functional playbooks in complex environments
Demonstrated success launching 0→1 product capabilities with limited resources and high ambiguity
Experience leading and developing high-performing Product Managers, setting a high bar for product thinking, accountability, and execution
Strong cross-functional leadership and influence, particularly partnering with Engineering, Finance, Risk, Operations, Support, and go-to-market teams in shared-ownership models
Comfort operating in high-ambiguity situations, making and defending high-stakes tradeoffs with incomplete data
Track record of building and scaling technically complex, regulated, or operationally intensive products
Bonus Points
Prior experience directly managing P&L or revenue ownership for a product, business line, or domain, and applying that perspective to product strategy and investment decisions
Experience evaluating, integrating, or migrating payment processors or payment rails, and making informed build vs. buy tradeoffs
Experience in the media/entertainment or freelance production ecosystem
