Job Description

NVIDIA is defining the future of enterprise AI, making it possible for organizations to build, deploy, and scale AI applications with unprecedented speed and simplicity. We're looking for a senior leader to drive both applied research and product strategy for AI developer infrastructure, someone who can identify high-potential research directions, work directly with researchers to advance them, and translate breakthroughs into differentiated products for cloud and AI-native customers. This role requires rare fluency across research and product: the ability to spot where the field is heading, place strategic bets, and ship production systems that capture that value. The ideal candidate has published or contributed to meaningful research, built and scaled AI products from zero-to-one, and can operate credibly with research scientists, enterprise customers, and cloud partners alike!What you'll be doing:Identify and lead applied research initiatives in emerging AI domains—including agentic software development, physical AI, privacy-preserving ML, and model alignment—working directly with research teams to advance state-of-the-art capabilitiesTranslate research breakthroughs into product strategy, defining roadmaps that create differentiated offerings for developers and enterprisesLead cross-functional teams spanning research, engineering, and product to deliver AI tools and services at scaleDrive go-to-market with lighthouse cloud partners and AI-native customers, validating research directions through direct engagement and strategic partnershipsShape technical direction across multiple product areas, ensuring coherent strategy from research through commercializationBuild, mentor, and scale high-performing teams across applied research and product managementWhat we need to see:Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field, or equivalent experience15 years of industry experience with 8+ years in technical leadership rolesDemonstrated ability to both conduct applied research and ship resulting products at scaleExperience in the cyber security field, with product or engineering leadership roles and ability to deliver enterprise-grade productsDeep technical proficiency in modern AI systems including LLMs, generative models, agentic architectures, and distributed inferenceExperience founding or scaling AI companies or initiatives from zero-to-oneStrong communication skills with ability to engage research, engineering, cloud partners, and executive audiencesWays to stand out from the crowdExperience bringing AI products to market through cloud partnerships or with AI-native customersPrior experience building developer platforms or infrastructure products adopted at scaleTrack record integrating acquired technology and teams into larger organizationsNVIDIA is widely considered one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
