The opportunity:
We are seeking a Product Strategy Architect with expertise in Graphics to join our team. As a Product Strategy Architect in the Engine Product organization, you will play a pivotal role in defining product requirements with technical input on customer need, value, measurability, as well as the ability to use and demonstrate product in a hands-on fashion. You will define product strategy with a technical point of view grounded in a direct understanding of customer requirements while ensuring the product vision aligns with business priorities, user needs, and technical feasibility. You will leverage your deep technical expertise to lead and manage the product roadmap, with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability. This unique position will require a combination of technical expertise, and product and stakeholder management skills.
What you’ll be doing:
Define and own a product vision, strategy, and roadmap that is informed by technical product expertise, customer feedback from Unity Studio Productions and Customer Success organizations, Production Verification, market research, user feedback, and competitive analysisPartner with stakeholders (e.g. Engineering, Quality, Design, Documentation, Program Management) to identify business goals, user needs, and technical requirementsPrioritize product features and improvements based on feedback from key external partnersCollaborate with other product team members to ensure solid cross-product integration and minimization of redundant feature codeFacilitate customer feedback loops to refine and improve the product by iteratively adding customer valueHands-on tests and demos to understand requirements and proposed solutions, verify deliveries, and showcase delivered features to customers, users and, partner.
What we’re looking for:
Prior experience in video game development as a Graphics Engineer, or similar, working with Unity, Unreal, or proprietary game engines.
Strong skills in roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and stakeholder management.
Cross-functional collaboration capabilities to bring teams together as we drive towards common goals and priorities.
Solid understanding of rendering pipelines, GPU architecture, low level graphics APIs (e.g., Vulkan) and performance optimization techniques, especially on restrictive hardware platforms.
You might also have:
Storytelling and visual presentation abilities to distill sophisticated topics into clear and concise communications.
Expertise in high performance programming with languages such as C# or C++.
Willingness to travel (up to 25% at peak times).
