We’re looking for an Agile trained Sr. Director, Product Operations to help scale our R&D operations across the organization. Reporting into the VP of Operations, this leader will serve as a key partner to both the Product, Engineering & Finance Organizations, driving cross-functional alignment, operational rigor, and data-driven decision-making that directly contributes to achieving strategic business objectives.

The Senior Director, Product Operations will be responsible for building and operating a comprehensive Program Management & Governance function that supports both the Product and Engineering organizations across R&D. This role is critical to ensuring we deliver measurable business value to our customers faster, with higher quality, and with greater predictability. You’ll be at the center of process governance, tooling and enablement, agile coaching, product documentation, localization, and cloud cost optimization—creating transparency, clarity, and rhythm across our teams.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, data, and collaboration.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Streamline Execution & Delivery:
    • Support optimization of the Product Development Lifecycle and Go To Market processes to remove friction and improve execution.
    • Create and manage planning and execution cadences to ensure predictability and fewer surprises.
    • Help build shared product and engineering KPIs that directly correlate to business outcomes to monitor delivery performance and surface risks early.
    • Reinforce structured processes with transparency and clarity.
    • Make Product and Engineering Teams More Data-Driven:
    • Contribute towards a unified product operations data platform—linking engineering metrics, product usage data, customer feedback, and business impact.
    • Create dashboards and reporting that allow product and tech leaders to evaluate business performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Drive transparency and alignment by ensuring all decisions are grounded in shared data and a common source of truth, and a clear understanding of their business implications.
    • Balance Innovation, Maintenance, Tech Debt, and Security:
    • Ensure processes help teams balance innovation, maintenance, tech debt, and security work without constant reprioritization.
    • Quantify the business impact and financial cost of tech debt to support strategic investment and resourcing decisions.
    • Agile Enablement & Team Coaching:
    • Provide hands-on support and coaching to teams struggling with agile practices.
    • Act as an agile advocate, embedding agile principles and improving team rituals into the culture and Product Development Lifecycle process to enhance delivery efficiency.
    • Program Management Rigor – champion best practice in designing and implementing (technical) program management rigor and maturity.
    • FinOps and Cloud Cost Optimization:
    • Collaborate with FP&A to lead annual budget planning and monitoring and managing actuals vs plan.
    • Monitor AWS and Azure usage and cost trends, identifying anomalies or overspend risk.
    • Partner with product management and architecture teams to recommend optimizations and ensure spend aligns with maximum product value and positive customer impact, optimizing ROI.
    • Tooling & Enablement:
    • Manage and optimize the product and engineering tool stack (e.g., roadmapping, OKRs, feedback collection, analytics, documentation).
    • Help ensure tools are well-integrated, well-adopted, and support end-to-end product development.
    • Cross-Functional Alignment
    • Be part of the connective tissue between product, engineering, marketing, sales, support, and finance.
    • Align cross-functional stakeholders on goals, execution priorities, timelines, and success metrics.
    • Product Documentation & Localization
    • Build and maintain a centralized knowledge base for product documentation, release notes, reference materials, and training.
    • Oversee localization and translation workflows for international markets to ensure global readiness.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

    • 6+ years of experience in product operations, product management, program management, change management or engineering operations—ideally within a SaaS or technology-driven company.
    • Proven track record of scaling product and engineering operations, processes, and governance frameworks.
    • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, product development lifecycle, and cross-functional product delivery.
    • Technical Program Management experience
    • Demonstrated strong business acumen with the ability to connect operational execution and technical decisions to strategic business objectives and financial performance.
    • Data-driven mindset with experience building KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting infrastructure that translate operational metrics into actionable business insights.
    • Experience implementing and managing tooling that supports product planning, feedback loops, analytics, and documentation.
    • Strong grasp of cloud infrastructure and FinOps principles; experience monitoring and optimizing AWS/Azure spend is a strong plus.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly document processes and train others.
    • Experience working across multiple departments, acting as a connector and aligning stakeholders toward shared outcomes.
    • Passion for helping teams work better together—removing blockers, reducing friction, and enabling speed and quality.
$180,000 - $190,000 a year
