We’re looking for a Merchant Success Manager who has hands-on experience managing or coordinating Shopify stores and thrives in a client-facing, relationship-driven role.
Role Overview:
As a Merchant Success Manager, you’ll be the primary point of contact for our merchants. You’ll work closely with Shopify brand owners and internal teams to ensure smooth execution, clear communication, and measurable results. This role is ideal for someone who has worked as an Ecommerce Manager or Ecommerce Coordinator and understands how Shopify brands operate day-to-day.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned Shopify merchants
- Build strong, long-term relationships through proactive communication and support
- Coordinate and manage ongoing initiatives across eCommerce operations
- Ensure merchants are aligned on timelines, priorities, and deliverables
- Translate merchant needs into clear action items for internal teams
- Monitor store performance and flag opportunities or issues proactively
- Lead regular check-ins, updates, and performance discussions with merchants
- Maintain organized documentation and reporting on merchant progress
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as an Ecommerce Manager, Ecommerce Coordinator, or similar role
- Direct experience working with Shopify brands (required)
- Strong understanding of eCommerce workflows, launches, promotions, and ongoing optimization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a client-facing role and managing multiple merchants
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage expectations, timelines, and priorities effectively
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with agencies or SaaS platforms serving eCommerce brands
- Familiarity with Shopify apps, integrations, and dashboards
- Basic understanding of marketing, CRO, or retention strategies
