Job Description

The position is based in Munich, and we will be operating from an office there. This would require employees to work from the Munich office three days per week.

The ideal candidate will have: 



  • 5+ years of sales experience in the merchant services, card payments or payment gateway
  • Experience cold calling and lead generation essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail 
  • The drive and ambition to succeed within the payments industry 
  • Strong closing skills
  • Strong organisational skills 
  • Experience with the full sales cycle 
  • Experience working on RFPs is beneficial 
  • Right to work in Germany and based in Munich 
  • Must be self-motivated and able to self-manage 
  • Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office package 
  • Must speak German, other languages desirable (German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch) 
  • University degreed preferred but not mandatory  

 


Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not limited to: 


  • New business cold calling 
  • Self-generated pipeline 
  • Partner prospecting, onboarding and management 
  • Manage and build relationships with senior business leaders 
  • Demonstrate and share knowledge of payment gateways, merchant services rates, card payments, card processing, and the overall payments industry landscape 
  • Assisting customers with queries 
  • Push expansion into Europe for new partnership and new business across in store, online and unattended verticals
  • Accurately update CRM systems and track activity and performance
  • Consistently work towards and exceed individual KPIs and targets
  • Support with representing Windcave at relevant industry events, trade shows, and networking forums, increasing brand visibility and generating high-quality leads.
