About Samsung Food

At Samsung Food (you might know us as Whisk), we are pioneering the future of everyday care and health — helping individuals and families around the world live better through connected, proactive, and personalized experiences. Our mission is to connect food, health, and home across the Samsung ecosystem, turning data from your devices into personalized guidance that supports you and your loved ones.

We work at the intersection of AI, nutrition, behavior change, and digital health. The Samsung Food app was included in Google Play’s Best of 2020 Everyday Essentials list, has been regularly featured on the Apple App Store, and was nominated for a 2021 Webby Award. We’ve also launched Vision AI, which recognises food and meals using our global Food Genome, and developed deep integrations with Samsung Health and SmartThings.

We are a remote-first team of more than 100 people in over 30 countries, united by our commitment to innovation and impact. As part of Samsung Electronics, we combine the agility of a startup with the scale of the world’s largest consumer electronics company. Join us and help build technology that improves daily life for tens of millions of people across phones, wearables, TVs, and kitchen appliances in the years to come.

About the Role

Whisk serves as the food intelligence and nutrition arm of Samsung Health. We build the AI, data, and behaviour change systems that connect food, health, and daily life across the Samsung ecosystem by turning signals from phones, wearables, and kitchen appliances into personalised guidance that helps people eat better, manage health conditions, and build lasting habits.

We’re looking for a Group Product Manager to lead our Nutrition pillar product team. You’ll manage 3 PMs, deliver the Nutrition pillar product roadmap, and be responsible for shipping inside Samsung Health.

You’ll be partnering with team members and stakeholders across multiple time zones, including Europe, Korea, and the U.S., to make that happen; navigating priorities, different cultures, and stakeholders. You’ll be shaping how behaviour change works at the Samsung Health scale.

We're looking for someone with strong core product skills and the curiosity to evolve with the role as AI reshapes what product management looks like.

You’ll report to the Head of Product and work daily with engineering, design, behavioural science, and AI teams distributed remotely.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop three product managers. Set a clear quality bar for their thinking and output. Your job is to make them better and elevate their work.
  • Ship a beta by Q3. Deliver the product roadmap from the current rules-based coaching system through to an AI-adaptive, personalised experience built on the COM-B behavioural framework.
  • Navigate cross-org complexity. Align with Samsung Health HQ on nutrition pillar delivery, platform architecture, and with AI teams on the personalisation engine. This requires cultural fluency, stakeholder awareness, and the ability to create clarity.
  • Ensure coherence across the coaching experience. User states, progression models, scheduling logic, etc. - partner with engineering to make these systems feel like a single, intuitive experience rather than a collection of features.
  • Define and own success metrics. Establish KPIs for coaching effectiveness, diet quality improvement, user engagement, and retention. Use data to inform product iteration.
  • Contribute to the broader product org. You’re joining a small, high-impact product team. You’ll help raise the bar on product craft and shape how we work as we grow.

What You Bring

  • 5–8 years of product management experience, including 2+ years leading or mentoring PMs.
  • A track record of shipping in cross-org environments. You’ve delivered complex products where stakeholders were distributed, and the plan evolved.
  • A genuine interest in behaviour change, health, wellness, or coaching products. You have experience in consumer apps, having shipped and grown something, and you’re keen to get into the mechanics of how it works.
  • Comfort with technical complexity. You don’t need to write code, but you know how to hold a conversation about personalisation systems, state-based user modeling, and coaching program logic as you learn and ramp up.
  • Experience working across time zones and cultures. You’ve managed people or stakeholders in different countries and diverse time zones. You know how to make async-first work and how to build trust across distance.
  • Exceptional written communication. You create clarity from complexity. Your documents embed the quality of your thinking. We value writing as a core PM skill.
  • Product judgment. You’ve spotted what was wrong with a product before data confirmed it. You’ve pushed back on a feature that technically worked but didn’t feel right. You’ve killed something that wasn’t earning its place.
  • Intellectual curiosity about how AI changes your craft. You’ve started integrating AI into your workflow or you’re genuinely eager to. What matters isn’t which tools you use, but whether you can form your own view, and know when to override the machine.
