We foster a working culture based on appreciation, collaboration, and mutual support. Through continuous growth, we provide excellent development opportunities and a high level of responsibility.

You are seen as a valuable part of the team. Your ideas, energy, and perspective contribute to the ongoing development of our rail topics. We support you in shaping your own path, developing both professionally and personally, and engaging in demanding projects.

Your responsibilities:
  • Further development of our rail and rolling‑stock portfolio as well as expand technical and methodological competencies related to vehicle fleets, workshops, and digital vehicle systems
  • Analyze, optimize, and digitalize processes in vehicle operations, fleet management, maintenance, repair, and component management
  • Develop business, process, and target models for digital transformation in the context of rolling stock - from workshop processes to data‑driven optimization approaches
  • Design and implement modern technology and data solutions (e.g., condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, telematics, IoT sensors, diagnostic systems)
  • Analyze and further develop organizational, governance, and operating models in vehicle and workshop environments
  • Design and implementation of modern control, monitoring, and management systems for vehicle fleets, workshops, and technical units
  • Take on tasks in project and program management in classical, hybrid, and agile environments
  • Prepare and conduct workshops, trainings, and change‑management activities along the value chain of rolling stock
  • Identify new topics, data‑driven business models, and development opportunities in the rail sector, including potential scalability to other industries
Who you are
You are a confident, analytically strong personality with excellent communication skills and a genuine motivation to take on responsibility. You enjoy working in an environment where you independently drive topics forward, prepare decisions, and achieve meaningful results together with your team.

Additionally, you possess the following distinguishing qualities:
  • Solid expertise in vehicle technology, mobility, digital transformation, and operational and maintenance‑related requirements in the context of rolling stock
  • A completed university degree with excellent results (Master’s, MBA, PhD, or equivalent)
  • At least six years of experience in consulting or project management related to vehicles, workshops, operations, or maintenance – ideally with initial leadership or steering responsibility
  • A track record of developing new business opportunities, building long‑term client relationships, and delivering and scaling consulting and/or transformation projects in the vehicle domain
  • Strong strategic and conceptual thinking skills as well as an excellent understanding of operational, process, and organizational models along the vehicle value chain
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant consulting and project‑management methods and confident interaction with interdisciplinary teams across engineering, operations, procurement, production, and IT
  • A high degree of initiative, creativity, sense of ownership, as well as willingness to travel according to project requirements
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Scrum, ITIL)
  • Business‑fluent German and English; further languages are a plus
Beneficial skills are:
  • Deep understanding of vehicle fleets, propulsion and system architectures (mechanical, electrical/electronic, software, ETCS/TCMS, FRMCS, energy and braking systems)
  • Experience working with digital vehicle models, condition data, sensor technology, and diagnostic systems (e.g., telematics, condition monitoring, predictive maintenance)
  • Knowledge of common norms, standards, and approval requirements in the vehicle sector (e.g., EN standards, TSI, interoperability requirements, vehicle lifecycle standards)
  • Experience with data‑driven maintenance and optimization strategies, fleet management, workshop processes, as well as quality and safety requirements in the vehicle environment
  • Basic knowledge in applying artificial intelligence to rail‑specific problem areas
