Job Description

You will be exposed to various aspects of building and testing NVIDIA products, from GPUs to assembled boards and systems. In addition, your responsibilities will include working with overseas manufacturing teams to increase yields, test coverage and capacity, and reduce production costs. If you are passionate about building the highest quality GPU products that will impact the world, then we really want to hear from you.What you'll be doing:Work on NVIDIA gaming and compute GPU board products during NPI and in productionWork with multi-functional teams (including Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, Design, Customer Support and Marketing) to achieve fast-paced delivery schedules on groundbreaking productsDefine and improve manufacturing test plans to optimize coverage, test-time, test-cost and yieldPerform product design and validation to support design engineering sustaining works.Root Cause failing boards and make DFX recommendations to design team.Direct local and oversea contract manufacturing factories to transit new products to massive production.Regularly report product status and recommend improvements to managementAnalyze volume manufacturing data by using a combination of available software tools as well as programming / scriptingWhat we need to see:Experience in two or more of the following areas – Server architectures, board/PCB-design, SMT, assembly, board or post-Si validation, product engineering, design or validation of high speed interfaces (like PCI-E / DP / HDMI / USB), Power-Integrity, Thermal characterization, complex test setupsAbility to debug complicated multi-disciplinary problemsGood team spirit and strong communicationGood grasp of testing strategies and their relation to yields and test-time5+ years of experience in design / manufacturing / validation / product development / testing of PCB’s, Silicon or some other systemsBachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science – or equivalent experienceWays to stand out from the crowd:Background in data analysis, software tools and scriptingExperience enabling / driving cross functional debugKnowledge of PCB manufacturing process, Silicon or PCB debug, system assembly / testing and mechanical tolerancesKnowledge of how to build computers and tweak BIOS settingsNVIDIA offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to work alongside some of the industry’s brightest engineers.
