Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Ecommerce Assistant will support the daily operations of our online retail business with a primary focus on Amazon marketplace management. This role involves maintaining product listings, optimizing content for search visibility, monitoring sales performance, and ensuring inventory accuracy. The Ecommerce Assistant will work closely with the marketing and operations teams to drive performance across all ecommerce platforms, contributing to sales growth and enhanced customer experience. Additionally, they play a critical role in analyzing marketplace trends, responding to customer queries, and assisting with promotional campaigns and reporting. 


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

CATALOG MANAGEMENT

•    Create and maintain product listings on the various marketplaces. (Title, description, images, graphics and specs.) Includes NEW ASIN creation.
•    Monitoring sales and generate listing and sales improvement suggestions for review
•    Proactively research online marketplaces to ensure the accuracy and delivery of our content.
•    Variation Management: create monitor and fix variation families
•    Case Management: Creating, tracking, escalating, and resolving Amazon support cases (catalog, inventory, pricing, contributions, ads, compliance). Document learnings.
•    Monitor competitive listings and products on all marketplaces
•    Create and track promotions, deals and coupons as guided. Suggest fixes for promotion errors and suppressions.
•    Monitor listing and buybox suppressions – track and monitor progress on fixes

LISTING DESIGN

•    Organizing and maintaining catalogues of images. Resizing and implementing images on digital platforms
•    Gathering data on campaign success, presenting results in a concise format
•    Assisting with the setup, facilitation, and completion of ecommerce marketing events/campaigns.
•    Conducting research to analyse competitive landscape, market trends and customer behaviour.
•    Keyword Research: Supporting keyword research using Brand Analytics, Search Query Performance, and third-party tools
•    Create and monitor A/B tests and report out results and suggested changes

OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

•    Assist in weekly inventory reporting and tracking including PO acceptance
•    Supporting the ecommerce team by updating calendars, organizing, and planning promotional presentations.
•    Internal Coordination: Working with product, supply chain, marketing, and finance teams as needed.
•    Deliver Standardized Daily / Weekly / Monthly Reports
•    Customer Service Support:
o    Respond to customer inquiries and reviews to maintain positive seller ratings. 
o    Flag and address negative feedback or potential account issues.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

1.    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or a related field. 
2.    Strong understanding of Amazon FBA/FBM and related tools. 
3.    Experience managing and optimizing Amazon product listings. 
4.    Proficiency with keyword research and SEO best practices for ecommerce. 
5.    Basic knowledge of Amazon advertising (PPC) platforms and strategies. 
6.    Ability to analyze data and present insights using Excel or similar tools. 
7.    Familiarity with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Home Depot, or Lowes is a plus. 
8.    Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
9.    Prior experience in ecommerce or online retail environment (1-2 years preferred). 
10.    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.  


Candidates must be located in the Philippines.

Duty Schedule: 40 Hours per Week, Mondays to Fridays, 8:00AM - 5:00PM EST
