Job Description

cFocus Software seeks a Software Tester to join our program supporting the Department of Defense (DoD). This position is remote. This position requires the ability a Public Trust clearance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience performing software testing for enterprise applications.
  • Experience testing web-based and database-driven systems.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and defect lifecycle management.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD CAC and required background investigation
Duties:
  • Execute manual test cases for DSAID application enhancements, bug fixes, and system updates.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across environments.
  • Validate system changes against documented requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with Government stakeholders.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using approved defect tracking tools.
  • Re-test resolved defects to verify successful remediation.
  • Support data validation and reporting accuracy verification.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, RMF, STIG, Privacy Act, and Section 508 requirements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, systems analysts, and QA engineers.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, test results, and status reports.
  • Support release readiness reviews and post-deployment validation activities
