Job Description
cFocus Software seeks a Software Tester to join our program supporting the Department of Defense (DoD). This position is remote. This position requires the ability a Public Trust clearance.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience performing software testing for enterprise applications.
- Experience testing web-based and database-driven systems.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and defect lifecycle management.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD CAC and required background investigation
- Execute manual test cases for DSAID application enhancements, bug fixes, and system updates.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across environments.
- Validate system changes against documented requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with Government stakeholders.
- Identify, document, and track defects using approved defect tracking tools.
- Re-test resolved defects to verify successful remediation.
- Support data validation and reporting accuracy verification.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, RMF, STIG, Privacy Act, and Section 508 requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, systems analysts, and QA engineers.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, test results, and status reports.
- Support release readiness reviews and post-deployment validation activities
