As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our mobile applications and backend services - with a strong focus on test automation. We’re looking for someone hands-on, independent, and experienced in building and maintaining automated test suites for mobile native apps.
Job Description
Your responsibilities:
Designing and executing end-to-end manual and automated tests for front-end (mobile native apps) and back-end interfaces.
Building and maintaining automated test frameworks for iOS and Android platforms.
Creating and improving CI pipelines for automated testing, ensuring fast and reliable feedback loops.
Contributing to QA strategy and test planning with a focus on automation.
Generating and managing test data to support comprehensive testing.
Tracking and reporting defects with clarity and context for the development team.
Preparing test execution reports to highlight test coverage, results, and areas for improvement.
Creating test cases and user documentation to support a seamless user experience.
Qualifications
At least 5 years in a testing role.
Experience with Mobile App (Native/hybrid) Testing.
Experience with test management tools like TestFLO, XRay, Zephyr, or TestRail.
Proven experience with bug tracking and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence.
A solid foundation in software development methodologies and a deep understanding of software testing principles at the ISTQB level.
Proficiency in tools like Postman, SoapUI, Appium.
Intermediate skills in WebdriverIO or Playwright/Cypress using JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience in testing REST APIs.
Creation and management of test processes.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience in test automation using POM.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, or GitLab.
Previous work with device farm services like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or LambdaTest.
Experience in working with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Certification or experience with advanced ISTQB or other testing qualifications.
Experience in leading QA team/s.
