Key Responsibilities
- Test Equipment Management: Specify, procure, and maintain test equipment for firmware testing of a power control product (power sources, analyzers, etc.) on system level
- Hardware Integration: Design and implement hardware interfaces and test fixtures
- Instrumentation: Set up precision measurement systems and data acquisition equipment
- Calibration Management: Ensure all test equipment is properly calibrated and maintained
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all hardware meets safety standards and electrical codes
- Technical Support: Provide hardware troubleshooting and repair support
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Power System Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered
- 3+ years of experience in the manufacture or design of electrical equipment
- Great knowledge of:
- At least one programming language (C++ or Python)
- Selenium framework
- Knowledge of Robotframework is nice to have
- Exceptional collaborative skills, with proven experience working effectively with cross-functional teams, leading quality assurance efforts, and fostering an environment of teamwork and cooperation.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to team members, stakeholders, and customers.
- Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented, with proven ability to work independently and under pressure, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Additional Experience Desired:
- A strong advocate for process improvement and innovation, with a history of initiating and leading projects that enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve team efficiency.
