General Summary:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our x360Sync team. As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our secure file sync and share solutions. You'll champion software quality through meticulous testing processes and contribute to improvements in our testing frameworks. Your expertise will be vital in delivering standout software solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work on the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Conduct thorough testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and ensure test coverage aligns with user expectations.
- Document detailed test outcomes, log defects, and work closely with developers to facilitate issue resolution.
- Manage test environment and test data preparation, ensuring accurate and effective testing scenarios.
- Participate in continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.

Good understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Proficient in designing and executing effective manual test cases and strategies.

Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex software issues efficiently.

Experience with manual and/or automated testing of client-server applications across various platforms.

Experience with cloud-based applications and services.
-
Fluency in English.

Good foundation in testing theory, with ISTQB certification is a plus.

Experience with multiple OS, desktop and mobile is a plus.
- Experience with Docker containers, and VMs is a plus.
- Good knowledge of file systems across Windows, Linux, and macOS is a plus.

Experience in OS administration (Win/Linux/macOS), including remote server management, file system operations, services, and network shares is a plus.

Experience with TestRail, Jira, and experience working in Scrum teams is a plus.

Experience in virtualization using VMware and vCenter to set up and maintain test environments is a plus.

Test automation experience and/or desire to learn and grow in this dimension is a plus.

Knowledge of programming/scripting languages, such as Python or JS is a plus.

Experience with a test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwriter is a plus.
