We’re looking for an SEO Assistant who thrives at the intersection of technical SEO, keyword research, and backlink strategy — someone who can turn data into actionable insights and opportunities into results.

You’ll be the team’s SEO secret weapon: researching keywords, analyzing competitors, auditing sites, and uncovering backlink opportunities. If you love diving into analytics, spotting trends, and optimizing websites, this is your sweet spot.

You’ll work closely with strategists and content teams to ensure every page, post, and backlink strategy is backed by solid research and ready to perform.

💼 What You’ll Be Doing

✨ Keyword Research & Competitive Analysis

• Research relevant keyword universes and prioritize categories/classes

• Analyze competitor content to uncover new opportunities

• Track fluctuations in SEO metrics — sessions, clicks, visibility, CTR, pages indexed, impressions

 

📊 Technical SEO & Reporting

• Conduct SEO audits (on-page, technical, site speed, Core Web Vitals)

• Pull data from SEMRush, Ahrefs, Search Console, and other SEO tools

• Provide clear performance reporting and actionable insights

 

🔗 Backlinking & Outreach

• Research competitor backlink profiles and opportunities

• Support link-building campaigns and monitor backlink quality

• Create SOPs, checklists, and playbooks for SEO processes

 

🎯 You’ll Be Great At This Role If You…

• Have 2+ years of SEO keyword research experience

• Know on-page, technical, and local SEO

• Are experienced with SEMRush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, and PageSpeed Insights

• Have a sharp attention to detail and a data-driven mindset

• Can work EST hours

 

💡 Bonus Points:

• Experience with Notion, Loom, Slack, Gmail, and Vercel-hosted websites

• Familiarity with AI, SaaS, or startup environments

• Knowledge of Core Web Vitals diagnostics and structured data

• Experience creating SOPs, playbooks, or documentation
