Job Purpose

We are looking for a results-driven Social Media Manager with advanced English proficiency to lead and evolve the digital voice of a premium lifestyle brand. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, creative storytelling, and hands-on execution across social platforms and email marketing. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record managing high-end, purpose-driven or e-commerce brands, with a deep understanding of audience dynamics, content performance, and community engagement.  



This role works closely with the brand owner and the creative pod team to ensure consistency, premium brand perception, and measurable growth.



Job details: 

  • Location: 100% Remote – focus on candidates in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Colombia.
  • Schedule: must be available to support occasional work outside standard business hours or align with agreed schedules for collaboration with global teams and partners.
  • Job Type: Contractor (hourly-based engagement).
  • Language Proficiency: Advanced English (C1) or higher, with strong conversational skills for calls and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Availability: part-time, depending on project demand, with the possibility of full-time engagement for periods ranging from one week to two months.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy & Content Planning:
    • Develop monthly and campaign-based social media strategies aligned with:
      • Brand storytelling, mission, and sustainability positioning.
      • Social impact narratives and purpose-led initiatives.
      • Collection launch strategies and regional inspiration themes.
      • Independent campaign directions with viral potential.
    • Define and manage monthly content pillars, such as:
      • Product drops, styling, and color narratives.
      • Sustainability education and premium brand perception.
      • Founder-driven content (e.g., behind-the-scenes, day-in-the-life).
    • Build and maintain a dynamic content calendar.
    • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to prioritize timely execution.
  • Email Campaign Planning & Execution
    • Plan and execute email campaigns that support:
      • Product launches, restocks, and promotional pushes.
      • Community activations and loyalty communications.
    • Define campaign flows, frequency, and tone.
    • Collaborate with design and copy teams to develop assets.
    • Ensure alignment of email messaging with social strategy.
    • Note: ESP account management (e.g., Mailchimp), database hygiene, and list ownership remain with the client.
  • Influencer & Loyalty Program Support:
    • Support strategy and coordination for:
      • Influencer activations and brand ambassador programs.
      • Loyalty and rewards initiatives.
    • Organize deliverables and timelines (e.g., 3 influencer posts/month).
    • Propose experiential content moments and thematic activations.
    • Maintain consistent messaging across influencers, email, and social channels.
  • A/B Testing & Optimization:
    • Plan and implement structured A/B tests focused on:
      • Messaging angles (e.g., luxury, sustainability, social impact).
      • Format performance (Reels vs. static vs. carousels).
      • Target audiences (by region, demographic, or community segment).
      • Calls-to-action and conversion strategies.
    • Synthesize insights and implement learnings into content planning.
  • Community Management:
    • Provide daily engagement across platforms (~30 min/day):
      • Respond to comments and DMs with brand-aligned tone
      • Proactively engage with aligned accounts and audiences
      • Escalate partnership or sales opportunities to internal teams
      • Maintain 24-hour maximum response time
    • Uphold premium tone and brand perception across all touchpoints
    • Inputs needed: FAQs, escalation protocols, and brand response templates
  • Reporting & Performance Evolution:
    • Deliver monthly performance reports covering:
      • Community growth and engagement metrics
      • Organic content traction and top-performing formats
      • Social-to-website traffic insights (when available)
      • Email campaign KPIs (open rates, CTR, conversions)
    • Propose and apply strategic improvements for future cycles


Required Academic Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Language Proficiency: Advanced English (C1+ spoken and written); Spanish proficiency is highly valued.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing social media for premium, lifestyle, or e-commerce brands, ideally within agency environments or remote-first teams.
  • Proven track record developing and executing multi-channel strategies across Instagram, TikTok, Meta Business Suite, and emerging platforms.
  • Experience planning and executing integrated email campaigns supporting product drops, promotions, and loyalty activations.
  • Proficiency in content scheduling platforms like Later, Buffer, Hootsuite, or Planoly.
  • Ability to coordinate with design teams using Figma, Adobe CC, or Canva Pro for visual asset creation.
  • Experience briefing and collaborating with copywriters, designers, and performance marketers.
  • Email Marketing Tools:
    • Familiarity with Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar ESPs.
    • Ability to define flows, manage asset requirements, and align email messaging with social content.
  • Influencer & Community Management:
    • Experience managing influencer relationships, briefing content deliverables, and aligning brand messaging.
    • Strong community engagement skills via Instagram DMs, comments, and Meta Inbox.
    • Prioritization of fast, brand-aligned responses and escalation of partnership/sales leads.
  • Skilled in structured A/B testing and performance tracking across formats, messaging angles, audiences, and CTAs.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Meta Insights, Instagram Analytics, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics, or UTM tracking tools.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and present performance evolution in monthly reports.
  • Strong command of editorial planning tools such as Notion, Trello, Asana, or ClickUp.
  • Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary Pod environment (Design, QA, SEO, PM/AM).
  • Autonomous and accountable, with strong organizational skills and attention to executional detail.
  • Strong communication abilities for remote collaboration and performance reporting.


Nice to have

  • Certifications in Social Media Strategy, Digital Marketing, or Content Marketing from platforms such as HubSpot, Meta Blueprint, Hootsuite Academy, or Google Digital Garage.
  • Experience working with sustainable brands, luxury/lifestyle products, or purpose-driven marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with performance marketing workflows and collaboration with paid media teams.
  • Background in e-commerce optimization, loyalty program communication, or email list segmentation.
  • Experience creating or coordinating founder-led content, behind-the-scenes narratives, or community-driven storytelling.
