SailPoint Engineer / Architect
Location: Remote (U.S. based)Department: Global Information Security, Global Business Services
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SailPoint Engineer/Architect to lead the design and implementation of application onboarding into our SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) platform. This role will serve as a technical and strategic interface between business leaders, architects, engineers, and application owners, ensuring seamless integration and governance across enterprise systems.Key Responsibilities
Design and Architecture
- Architect scalable and secure onboarding solutions for enterprise applications using SailPoint ISC.- Define integration patterns and connector strategies (e.g., direct connectors, RESTful APIs, JDBC, file feeds).
- Lead the development of role-based access control (RBAC) frameworks and entitlement models.
Implementation and Integration
- Oversee end-to-end onboarding lifecycle: planning, development, integration, testing, and production deployment.- Configure and customize SailPoint workflows, access profiles, identity attributes, and lifecycle events.
- Ensure compliance with audit and security requirements including SOC 2, GDPR, and HIPAA.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with business units, application teams, and security leadership to gather requirements and align onboarding efforts.- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and support teams.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed documentation of architecture, integration steps, and configuration decisions.- Generate reports and dashboards to monitor onboarding progress and access certification campaigns.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) or IdentityIQ.- Proven track record of onboarding applications into SailPoint platforms, including disconnected and complex systems.
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts: provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews, RBAC, SOD rules.
- Experience with integration protocols and tools: REST APIs, LDAP, AD, SAML, OAuth, JDBC.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and enterprise systems (SAP, Salesforce, Workday).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ServiceNow and CyberArk integrations.- Knowledge of SCRUM/agile methodologies for IAM project delivery.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for interfacing with cross-functional teams and leadership.
