What you'll be doing:Contribute to the build and development of world-class ISP to meet the ambitious performance and quality standards of NVIDIA's autonomous driving and robotics applicationsApply your expertise to drive continuous improvement and innovation in image processing algorithms and architectures including SOTA deep learning methods to achieve unprecedented image quality and camera usabilityEngage with new camera application areas including Vision-Language-Action AI to understand needs and constraints, and discover opportunities to innovate ISPDevelop ISP architecture specifications, functional models, and tests by working closely with other IP architects, hardware engineers, and software teamsRepresent new and existing NVIDIA ISP capabilities to internal groups, partners, and customersWhat we need to see:A Master's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field10+ years of proven experience in ISP architecture and imaging science for automotive, robotics, surveillance, and consumer camerasStrong foundation in human- and machine-centric image quality assessment and algorithm complexity analysisProficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, Python, DL framework (PyTorch, TensorFlow)Excellent communication skills for productive personal interactions as well as for effective documentation and presentationWays to stand out from the crowd:Ph.D. in relevant field or equivalent experienceDeep expertise in image science covering optics, HDR image sensors, and color/tone managementExperience in developing and successfully deploying deep learning-based ISP technologies in real-time camera systemsKnowledge of industry standards and benchmarks for consumer, automotive, and medical imaging systemsTrack record in building a culture of imaging excellence based on first principles and attention to detail through mentorship, teaching, and personal examplesNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
