You will oversee the architecture and improvements of various game relevant systems, as well as fostering a good climate within the team to enable people to invest in their development. You will be working closely with other leads and people from different disciplines as well as other studios, using agile methodologies to drive the work.Responsibilities: Lead a team of interdisciplinary programmersMentor, manage and regularly review team members to continue building a cohesive and effective teamFoster a healthy collaboration of the various programming groups within the team together with the project leadership groupSpearhead the design and development of architecture and features within the mandate scopeOversee and engage in architectural and systemic direction that is in line with the internal team as well as the co-lead studiosWork with the project core team to align on priorities, roadmap projectionIdentify risks and opportunities presented during the development and provide solutions to resolve potentially complex problemsEnable the team to be successful in delivering quality and growing with their responsibilitiesHelp the team to define and plan the workWhere needed, support your team actively in achieving set goals/workIdentify and self-responsibly drive your own workMaintain healthy collaboration and communication with the lead studioQualificationsReliable lead and team player with a bottom-up approach and servant leadership mindsetExperience leading a team in achieving development objectives10+ years of development experience and shipped at least 1 Anvil title (Open World and/or Online as a plus)Solid knowledge of C# and/or Java, proficiency in C++Proficient in refactoring and optimising existing systemsExcellent debugging and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of multi-threaded principlesAbility to work efficiently with a large, existing code baseExcellent communication skills and ability to work in a teamAbility to form technical designs based on requirements of other departments (Game Design, Art, Gameplay etc.)Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills in English, Vietnamese as a plusAdditional InformationUbisoft Da Nang - Where bright ideas are given a chance to shine Ubisoft Da Nang is an ambitious and dynamic studio, bringing together some of the brightest international talent to create immersive worlds that serve as playgrounds for imagination, surprise, and fun.Since 2020, we’ve been uniting the best creative and engineering minds from Vietnam and beyond, with a shared goal of introducing Ubisoft’s iconic worlds to new audiences.
