Job Description
We are now looking for a Senior Performance Verification Engineer!As a member of our CPU Performance verification Team, you will be responsible for performance correlation, analyzing workloads and benchmarks for performance bottlenecks, developing microbenchmarks and creating the necessary verification infrastructure for performance analysis. We have crafted a team of outstanding people stretching around the globe, whose mission is to push the frontiers of what is possible today and define the platform for the future of computing.What you’ll be doing:Technical leadership role to define/plan/implement/execute performance verification strategy of sophisticated CPU designsAbility to delve into lowest level details of CPU unit design specification, implementation and it's performance impactInteractions with architect and design engineers to define detailed scope of micro architectural featuresDraft detailed performance testplans and define/Create scalable micros to validate featuresAnalysis and correlation of CPU benchmarks/workloadsBuild infra/tooling needed for efficient performance correlation debugAbility to lead and provide detailed technical guidance to junior engineersAgility to work on multiple tasks/projectsWhat we need to see:BS or MS in EE/ECE or equivalent experience. PhD is a plus3+ years of experience in CPU performance modeling, performance correlation, performance analysis, or relevant experiencesStrong understanding in CPU micro architecture and designsExperience with workload analysis and characterizationStrong coding skills in scripting languages like Perl, Python, or C++Good communication skills and ability & desire to work as a team player are a mustWays to stand out from the crowd:Experience leading performance validation of major blocks of CPU pipelineBackground with ARM A64, X86 ArchitecturesYour base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
