As a Solution Architect at Aras, you will advise our customers on the implementation of Aras Innovator with regards to business process implementation. You will either work on subtasks in a team of like-minded colleagues or take overall responsibility for the success of the project.
Are you an experienced Solution Architect able to lead the technical implementation team in the planning, elaboration, design, construction, and transition of PLM solutions that exceed customer requirements? Then you might be our new Solution Architect.
As Solution Architect at Aras, you have the overall ownership of the solution delivery. Demonstration of technical leadership, team management, organization skills, and the ability to negotiate with key customer stakeholders are essential in ensuring success.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead a technical implementation team in all aspects of solution delivery
- Facilitate workshops, develop solutions, build consensus across all stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology aligned with business value
- Develop conceptual solution architecture using a combination of standard and custom applications to produce an end-to-end customer solution
- Lead as well as support the development of requirements specifications, Use Cases, and functional specifications
- Perform solution analysis, develop customer facing proposals and contribute to the development of proposals / statements of work
- Transform customer requirements into technical solutions by using thorough understanding of the Aras Innovator suite of tools
- Lead or participate in the delivery of Proof of Concept engagements at key prospects
- Provide input to the professional services team regarding methodology and tools
- Provide coaching and mentoring to other team members as necessary
- Assign tasks to project members and review the team’s work products to ensure that they are accurate and consistent
- Supervise and manage technical teams that may be located either onsite or offshore
- Facilitate and contribute to continuous improvement of how we deliver solutions
You will have the option of working at our office or partly from home. You will spend up to 40% of your time travelling.
Your Skills
- Interact professionally and communicate efficiently with customers and internal team members
- Curiosity and openness toward new technologies, in particular artificial intelligence, which is part of our daily work and which we are progressively integrating into our solutions
- A solid understanding of our customers' business challenges and the ability to advise and guide them toward the best solutions
- Clearly demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
- Have a thorough understanding of large-scale enterprise application implementation methodologies and experience leading teams in an Agile / Scrum environment
- Must be able to write clear, understandable Requirements, SoW’s, Specification Documents, and Use Cases
- Technically self-sufficient with data modeling techniques, SQL Server and Microsoft Office products.
- Experienced with data migration techniques from legacy systems
- Proven strong project management skills with accountability for end-to-end delivery
- Strong planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
- Ability to support multiple projects concurrently as required
- Must have exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong rapport and relationship building skills with both internal individuals and external customers. Must be an effective communicator in difficult customer situations
As you will be working in a virtual organization, it is important that you are able to work independently but at the same time have a strong team spirit.
Your experience
- Significant initial PLM implementation experience (ideally 3 years or more)
- Proven track record in leading large, enterprise PLM software implementations in an Architect role
- Demonstrated experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.
