About the Role


We are seeking a strategic and technically strong Lead Services Architect to design, develop, and evolve scalable Managed Services offerings supporting federal government environments. This role will focus on creating standardized, repeatable, and profitable service solutions that align with customer needs, vendor capabilities, and internal delivery models.


The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and pre-sales experience, with the ability to translate complex technologies into deliverable and marketable services in federal and compliance-driven

environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain a scalable Managed Services portfolio, including service definitions, SLAs, and delivery models
  • Standardize service offerings to improve efficiency, consistency, and profitability
  • Lead solution architecture for complex and high-value opportunities, particularly within federal programs
  • Partner with sales teams to support pre-sales solutioning and federal deal strategy
  • Ensure alignment between proposed solutions and operational delivery capabilities
  • Define service design standards and govern non-standard solutions
  • Collaborate with vendor partners to align services with available technologies and federal requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement of service offerings based on market trends and customer needs
  • Support RFP/RFI/RFQ responses for federal opportunities
  • Document service architectures, workflows, and design standards


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Managed Services, Solution Architecture, or Services Design
  • Experience designing service offerings within a VAR, MSP, or enterprise environment
  • Experience supporting
    federal government clients or regulated environments
  • Strong understanding of service delivery models, SLAs, and pricing structures
  • Experience supporting pre-sales and complex solution design
  • Familiarity with enterprise technologies such as cloud services, infrastructure, and ITSM platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience


Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting federal agencies and understanding compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST)
  • Experience in Managed Services or Value-Added Reseller environments
  • Experience working with OEM/vendor programs (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, Dell)
  • Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management frameworks
