TasksRespond to technical support inquiries from third-party developers, ensuring timely and high-quality assistanceInvestigate complex technical issues and provide effective solutions, including deep analysis of performance and system behaviorSupport developers with GPU and CPU optimization on Nintendo platforms, including profiling, performance analysis, and best-practice guidanceDevelop sample code, tools, and technical documentation (e.g., whitepapers, guidelines) to enable and educate developersCollaborate with internal teams (e.g., SDK, hardware, and tools teams) to resolve issues and improve developer experienceRepresent Nintendo of Europe at industry events, participate in technical discussions with external partners, and respond to developer inquiries RequirementsUniversity degree in Computer Science or comparable qualificationStrong C++ programming skills, ideally in performance-critical or low-level systemsExperience in graphics programming and CPU/GPU optimization, including profiling and performance analysis of real-time applicationsSolid understanding of rendering pipelines, shader development, and hardware-level performance considerationsFamiliarity with modern graphics APIs such as Vulkan (SPIR-V), DirectX (HLSL), and/or OpenGL, and the ability to work with or quickly adapt to proprietary SDKs and graphics APIsStrong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical topics to developersWillingness to travel for business within Europe and occasionally internationally (e.g., US, Japan)Fluent written and spoken English language skills; Japanese language proficiency would be an advantageBackground in the games industry, ideally in graphics or optimization-focused roles would be a plusExperience with game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity is a plusPlease bear in mind that it might be a Senior position depending
