German Prompt Engineer – Clinical AI (LLM / Python) | Remote (Germany)

We are looking for a German-speaking Prompt Engineer to join an innovative project focused on AI-powered clinical documentation.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of AI, prompt engineering, and software development, helping to design and optimize prompts for large language models used in healthcare documentation workflows. You will contribute to improving the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of AI-generated clinical documentation.

Location: Remote in Germany (via EOR)

Languages: German (C1+) and English

Experience: Mid-level (2–5 years)

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize prompt templates for large language models to generate consistent clinical documentation
• Conduct prompt experiments and evaluations (A/B testing, targeted worksets, and failure analysis)
• Analyze outputs and improve prompts based on evaluation results and performance metrics
• Manage prompt configurations and updates through Git and Azure DevOps workflows
• Develop Python scripts in Linux environments to run experiments, batch evaluations, and data analysis
• Collaborate with internal teams to support AI deployments across multiple clinical specialties

Requirements

• Experience working with LLM prompt engineering or AI-driven text generation
• Strong Python programming skills and experience working in Linux environments
• Experience with Git-based development workflows
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to evaluate model outputs
• Experience with clinical documentation workflows or healthcare data is a strong advantage
• Fluent German and English

Compensation: Salary is negotiable and will be determined based on experience.
