Senior Software Engineer, Apple Platform Systems Team

The opportunityThe Apple Platforms team is dedicated to developing and maintaining Unity Engine support across Apple’s ecosystem, including iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and tvOS. We work in close collaboration with the Android platform team, together owning and developing features that span mobile platforms. We handle platform specific implementation details and provide a unified solution to create interactive visual content on all supported platforms. This enables our users to focus on bringing their ideas to life without having to worry about technical differences between various platforms. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team. You will have the opportunity to develop, optimize and expand tools used to create the majority of mobile games. You will contribute to team deliverables and collaborate with other engineers. What you'll be doing Maintain and improve existing features Design and build new features Follow best practices to write clean, cross-platform code, cover functionality with tests, and provide clear documentation Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including product, QA, customer support teams, to ensure their requirements are met What we're looking for Experience designing, building and maintaining features or products Proficiency in C++, C# Excellent communication and collaboration skills You might also have Experience building mobile applications Experience building mobile applications Experience working with Unity Editor Experience with Swift, Objective C Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies Additional information Relocation support is not available for this position.
