Technical Product Manager (Philippines)

We are seeking a strategic, customer-centric, and results-driven Technical Product Manager to join our fast-paced, innovative software development team. In this role, you will oversee the entire product lifecycle - from defining initial concepts to launching scalable software solutions - ensuring our products address user needs while aligning with overarching business goals. This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role that requires technical expertise, leadership, and agility to drive the development of impactful software products.

Key Responsibilities: 

 

1.  Market Research & Product Strategy 

• Conduct market analysis and leverage customer feedback to identify new opportunities for software solutions. 

• Develop competitive pricing models and craft compelling go-to-market strategies for software offerings. 

• Benchmark against competitors’ products, assessing market positioning, feature sets, and performance standards for continuous improvement. 

 

2.  Software Product Development 

• Collaborate closely with engineering, UX/UI designers, and QA teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality software products. 

• Create detailed product roadmaps, sprint plans, release timelines, and technical specifications in partnership with stakeholders. 

• Manage the end-to-end development process, ensuring alignment with technical feasibility, user needs, and business objectives. 

 

3.  Agile Project Management 

• Lead Agile development cycles, monitor progress, and address any blockers or risks to ensure timely delivery. 

• Serve as the main communication channel for updates, roadblocks, and milestones to internal teams and external clients. 

• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specs. 

 

4.  Cross-functional Team Leadership 

• Lead and motivate software engineers, designers, and QA teams to meet project goals with a focus on quality and innovation. 

• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages open communication, continuous feedback, and iterative improvement. 

 

5.  Customer Focus & User-Centric Design 

• Gain deep insights into user workflows, pain points, and desired outcomes to prioritize features and technical solutions. 

• Advocate for customers by translating their needs into functional requirements and ensuring a seamless user experience. 

 

6.  Stakeholder Engagement & Communication 

• Present product visions, roadmaps, and technical strategies to internal teams and external clients clearly and persuasively. 

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to manage expectations, gather feedback, and ensure alignment. 

• Demonstrate active listening, empathy, and strategic communication skills across diverse audiences. 

 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field; additional technical certifications beneficial. 

• 8+ years of experience in product management within a software development environment, with a proven track record of delivering SaaS, web, or mobile products. 

• Strong technical background with familiarity in software development lifecycle, APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.), and modern development frameworks. 

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps. 

• Exceptional leadership, English communication, and stakeholder management skills. 

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable language for stakeholders. 

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality products under pressure. 

• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for designing intuitive, scalable software solutions. 

• Creative problem-solver with a curious and innovative approach to product development.
