As a Sr UX Writer II, you’ll think in terms of flows and interactions, and ensure that language functions as a system that works across products, surfaces, and languages, embodying our brand and meeting users wherever they are. This strategic role is scoped to operationalizing content design within the design system, and developing writing standards and frameworks that scale across multiple products.

What You'll Do:
UX Writing

Serve as a thought leader in UX writing, contributing to the development of best practices and advocating for a user-first approach across teams

Document and maintain the styles and standards for UX writing across all products

Conduct audits, identify patterns, and lead brainstorming sessions to design the best user experiences and identify areas for optimization

Clearly communicate creative concepts to stakeholders representing strategic and user-focused viewpoints with confidence and ease

Independently lead UX writing initiatives from discovery through implementation, ensuring alignment with product strategy and driving measurable improvements in user experience and engagement

Bring judgment to how AI fits into content design work; using it where it adds value, helping the team calibrate processes, and contributing to responsible practices

Partner closely with design teams on accessibility and localization initiatives, ensuring content is inclusive and usable for all
Localization

Leverage deep understanding of how authoring UI decisions affect authors working across languages and regions

Shape and advocate for patterns that reduce friction for multilingual workflows
Design Thinking

Ensure strategic alignment of UX writing discipline with Articulate’s product principles and brand voice

Leverage user research, A/B testing, and performance analytics to refine UX copy and optimize user interactions

Adapt and evolve writing systems and resources to meet future product and user needs.

Collaborate with researchers, product managers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to establish conversational, cohesive experiences with a unified voice

What You Should Have:

8+ years of experience as a UX Writer with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles

Experience with localization workflows, including writing for translatability, working with translation management systems, or collaborating with L10n engineering teams

A builder who’s comfortable in a high-growth environment

A demonstrated ability to use empathy, logic, and data to inform design choices
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present research to stakeholders and executive leadership
-
Proven fluency with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) applied to content design workflows—not just as a user, but as someone who builds and maintains AI-powered systems for team-wide use

The pay range for this position is $122,600 to $183,800 for all U.S. locations. This range represents our good faith expectation of what we reasonably expect to pay for this role based on factors including (but not limited to) skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, education, and other business and organizational needs.
