Job Description
About the Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on Landing Page CRO Specialist to drive conversion rate growth for paid traffic. You will implement, test, and iterate on landing page changes quickly—without waiting on engineering—using a mix of A/B testing tools and direct front-end edits. This is a performance-focused role, not a design or branding role.
What You’ll Do:
- Own conversion rate (CVR) performance for paid-traffic landing pages
- Build, launch, and analyze continuous A/B tests
- Personally implement test variants using:
- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- A/B testing platforms or client-side experimentation tools
- Optimize landing pages for:
- Page structure and hierarchy
- Above-the-fold layout and copy
- CTA placement, behavior, and interaction
- Load speed and perceived performance relevant to CVR
- Ensure strong ad → landing page message match
- Diagnose conversion friction using analytics, heatmaps, and session replays
- Maintain a clear experimentation roadmap with hypotheses and learnings
- Move fast with minimal reliance on internal engineering resources
What You Have:
- Hands-on experience improving CVR on paid-traffic landing pages
- Comfort writing and editing front-end code
- Strong understanding of how DOM changes, JavaScript execution, and page performance impact conversion and test validity
- Ability to implement and QA experiments end-to-end
- Hypothesis-driven thinking, not opinion-based decisions
- Obsession with details and iteration speed
Technical Skills & Tools:
- Strong working knowledge of:
- HTML / CSS
- JavaScript (DOM manipulation, event handling)
- Experience with:
- Client-side A/B testing tools (VWO, Convert, Optimizely, etc.)
- Webflow, Shopify, or custom CMS environments
- Familiarity with:
- Analytics tools (GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude)
- Heatmapping/session replay tools (Hotjar, FullStory)
- Performance optimization (page speed, CLS, FCP)
- Debugging experiment conflicts
