Job Description

Own how the brand shows up and sells across social-first commerce platforms — building the merchandising strategy, team, and experimentation engine that transforms TikTok Shop, Meta Shops, and Shopify into high-converting, brand-elevating revenue channels.

This leader will operate at the intersection of merchandising, growth, analytics, and culture — balancing instinct and data to drive measurable impact across every social commerce touchpoint.

Key Outcomes & Performance Expectations

Success in this role will be measured against the following outcomes:

1. Social Commerce Revenue Growth

  • Own and scale revenue across TikTok Shop, Meta Shops, and Shopify social extensions
  • Establish channel-level revenue targets within 30 days
  • Deliver a defined 12-month revenue growth plan aligned with eCommerce leadership

2. Shopify Conversion & Revenue Performance

Drive measurable improvements across core DTC metrics by end of year:

  • Revenue Per Visitor (RPV) improvement
  • Conversion Rate (CVR) lift
  • Average Order Value (AOV) growth
  • Cart-to-checkout optimization

3. Structured A/B Testing Program

Build and run a disciplined experimentation engine across social commerce and site merchandising:

  • Launch 2–4 tests per month
  • 100% documented learnings and next actions
  • 20–30% statistically significant win rate

4. Team Leadership & Development

  • Establish KPIs and performance goals for all direct reports within 60 days
  • Build a high-performing merchandising team with clear ownership and growth paths
  • Maintain strong team engagement and satisfaction

5. Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Deliver a merchandising roadmap within 90 days
  • Implement a prioritization framework adopted by Growth and Marketing
  • Ensure majority of initiatives are directly tied to company strategy

6. TikTok Shop Channel Ownership

  • Scale TikTok Shop as a primary revenue driver
  • Define GMV and conversion benchmarks at hire
  • Expand creator affiliate SKU coverage
  • Establish clear baseline performance and growth trajectory

7. Assortment & Bundle Strategy

  • Launch new bundles and drops quarterly
  • Increase bundle attach rate
  • Improve repeat purchase behavior through smart merchandising strategy

Strong intuition for what converts — validated through disciplined testing, reporting, and iteration.

Social Commerce Fluency

Deep, hands-on experience with:

  • TikTok Shop Seller Center
  • Meta Commerce Manager
  • Shopify Plus

This role requires optimization from day one — not tool onboarding.

Analytical Strength

Comfortable working within BI tools (e.g., Looker, Daasity, or similar). Able to build dashboards, extract insights, and turn data into decisions.
