Job Description

We are seeking an Affiliate Engagement Associate to support a 6-week pilot program focused on engaging and motivating our Brand Consultant community through social direct messages (DMs).

This role will execute scripted, approved outreach with light personalization, respond to inbound replies where appropriate, and capture structured learnings on which messaging and recognition approaches drive engagement and performance.

The goal of this pilot is to evaluate whether targeted, human-led DM engagement can help drive:

  • Increased revenue per Brand Consultant
  • Increased number of customers buying per Brand Consultant

Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ Outbound Engagement

  • Send approved, on-brand direct messages to a provided list of Brand Consultants via social platforms
  • Lightly personalize messages within defined guardrails
  • Follow pacing and volume guidelines to protect account health and compliance
  • Maintain consistent outreach cadence aligned with pilot strategy

2️⃣ Inbound Response & Escalation

  • Monitor and respond to Brand Consultant replies when straightforward
  • Escalate complex, sensitive, or out-of-scope responses to the internal team with proper context
  • Maintain professionalism and brand-aligned tone in all interactions

3️⃣ Recognition & Motivation

  • Deliver recognition, encouragement, and timely nudges aligned with provided messaging frameworks
  • Reinforce positive behaviors and momentum using approved language
  • Apply light behavioral insight to tailor tone within guardrails

4️⃣ Learning & Insight Capture

  • Maintain simple qualitative notes on:
    • Common response themes
    • Message types that resonate
    • Anecdotes indicating motivation or success drivers
  • Tag learnings using agreed-upon categories (e.g., recognition, urgency, clarity, incentives)
  • Track light quantitative indicators such as:
    • Response volume
    • Engagement signals
    • Directional sentiment

5️⃣ Weekly Reporting

Provide a concise weekly summary including:

  • Outreach volume (directional)
  • Engagement observations
  • Early signals of what appears to be working
  • Questions, risks, or edge cases identified

Success Metrics (Pilot Evaluation)

While this role does not directly control revenue outcomes, success will be evaluated based on:

  • Quality and consistency of Brand Consultant engagement
  • Clarity and usefulness of synthesized learnings
  • Directional contribution toward:
    • Revenue per Brand Consultant
    • Customers buying per Brand Consultant

Role Details

  • 100% remote
  • 6-week pilot engagement, with potential extension based on results and learnings
  • 3–5 years of experience in:
    • Social or DM-based engagement
    • Influencer management
    • Community management or affiliate engagement
  • Prior experience engaging individuals via 1:1 or small-batch social DMs
  • Strong written English with careful attention to tone and brand voice
  • Comfortable following scripts while applying light personalization
  • Ability to recognize patterns and clearly summarize insights
  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable working within defined guardrails

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Experience supporting influencer, creator, or affiliate programs
  • Familiarity with CRM, engagement, or social management tools
  • Experience working with US-based brands or communities
