The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for identifying, researching, and qualifying potential leads who may be interested in our products and services. You will use various tools and techniques to generate leads through outbound prospecting, research, and data-driven methods, and will work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth lead handoff and successful conversions. This role is expected to have experience in B2B sales.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead Research & Identification: Use online platforms, databases, and industry research to identify potential leads and generate a list of high-quality prospects that match the company's target customer profile.
- Qualify Leads: Assess and qualify leads based on criteria such as company size, industry, budget, needs, and purchasing intent to ensure they align with the company's ideal customer profile.
- CRM Management: Track and update all lead interactions and data in the CRM system (e.g., ClickUp, Outplay, Sales Navigator), ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping of leads, follow-up activities, and outcomes.
- Lead Handoff: Effectively hand over qualified leads to the sales team, ensuring they have all the relevant information and context needed to convert leads into opportunities.
- Data Analysis: Regularly analyze lead generation data to identify trends, assess the effectiveness of different strategies, and suggest improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to align lead generation efforts with broader business goals and initiatives.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on lead generation activities, metrics, and conversion rates to inform decision-making and strategy.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a lead generation, sales, or marketing role, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field (preferred but not required).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence prospects effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail in managing lead data and tracking outreach efforts.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., ClickUp, Outplay, Sales Navigator), prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator), and general office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Self-motivated: Ability to work independently and stay focused on achieving goals and targets.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adjusting strategies as needed to meet business objectives.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and identify patterns and trends to improve lead generation efforts.
