Job Description

We are looking for a strategic, highly organized, and creative events team member to join and help to execute our global event strategy. You’ll assist the event marketing team on end-to-end planning and execution of industry conferences, executive dinners, hosted experiences, and bespoke institutional events that drive pipeline and foster relationships within key target markets on behalf of the most trusted company in institutional crypto.

This is a role that partners closely with executive leadership, sales, and brand. You will succeed in this role if you someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves building world-class experiences, and understands how events drive meaningful business impact.

We have created the Factors of Growth & Impact to help Villagers better measure impact and articulate coaching, feedback, and the rich and rewarding learning that happens while exploring, developing, and mastering the capabilities and contributions within and outside of the (insert role title) role:

Technical Skills:

    • Experience building structured event plans that clearly define objectives, audiences, timelines, budgets, and success metrics, ensuring events are tightly aligned with broader marketing and business goals.
    • Strong operational knowledge of industry conferences and trade shows, including sponsorship execution, booth logistics, speaker coordination, etc.
    • Experience sourcing and managing external vendors and venues, including AV, production, catering, fabrication, and staffing partners. Comfortable reviewing contracts, negotiating scopes of work, and ensuring vendors deliver to agreed-upon timelines and standards.

Complexity and Impact of Work:

    • Conduct market research to identify relevant industry events and networking opportunities.
    • Perform post-event analysis including analyzing attendance, engagement, and pipeline impact to inform future event strategy and demonstrate ROI.

Organizational Knowledge:

    • Understands Anchorage Digital’s strategic goals and integrates them into event planning and goal-setting.

Communication and Influence:

    • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment of field marketing efforts with overall marketing and business objectives.

You may be a fit for this role if you have:

    • A proven track record managing third-party events from strategy through execution.
    • Hands on experience with venue sourcing, contract coordination, and vendor management for in-house events.
    • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
    • Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and interpersonal — with an ability to collaborate across departments.
    • Experience working in fast-paced environments and managing tight deadlines.
    • Data-driven decision-making capabilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Although not a requirement, bonus points if:

    • You have experience working in event marketing within the crypto, finance, or FinTech industries
    • You’re proficient in Salesforce, Luma, or other event marketing tools
    • You were emotionally moved by the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system. :)
