Intro to Role:
The Content/CRO Specialist is a full-time position responsible for the ideation and development of content briefs and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) test ideas across Digital Marketing clients, with a strong emphasis on travel and tourism.
This position is a blend of creativity and strategy—turning SEO and UX insights into content and testing recommendations that improve client performance and align with their overall goals. The ideal candidate has a strong editorial background, deep understanding of SEO best practices, and hands-on experience with CRO ideation and data analysis. You must be comfortable using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Google Ads, SEMrush, and Microsoft Clarity to assess site performance, identify content opportunities, and translate findings into deliverables.
A background in U.S. travel and tourism or destination marketing is highly preferred, as this role supports clients that aim to inspire visitation and drive economic growth through tourism initiatives.

What Your Impact Will Look Like:
- Conduct strategic content assessments to identify opportunities to improve, consolidate, or expand site content based on search trends and audience needs
- Use AI-assisted tools and SEO best practices to efficiently develop structured content briefs that are ready for editorial review
- Analyze website performance, user behavior, and client goals to generate thoughtful CRO test ideas that address high-priority needs or areas of opportunity
- Collaborate closely with SEO Analysts to ensure alignment with client strategies, incorporate feedback, and revise briefs as needed
- Communicate with Content Editors to clarify and expand on content briefs when additional context or detail is needed for production
- Represent Simpleview and the Digital Marketing department in a professional, collaborative, and solutions-oriented manner in all interactions
- Proactively track and manage deliverables, ensuring clear visibility into workload and progress across a high volume of accounts
- Maintain consistency and quality across all content and CRO recommendations, adhering to internal standards and client expectations
- Actively engage in internal conversations about SEO, content strategy, UX improvements, and testing opportunities
- Stay informed on emerging trends in SEO, UX, and digital marketing to enhance deliverables and identify new opportunities
- Approach every deliverable with an analytical mindset and attention to detail to ensure quality and relevance
- Balance multiple priorities while working within deadlines and collaborating across multiple departments

Required Tools & Technical Proficiency:
- These tools are essential to your success in this role and will be part of your day-to-day workflow:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
- Google Search Console (GSC)
- Google Ads (AdWords)
- SEMrush
- Microsoft Clarity and Mouseflow (or similar heatmapping/user behavior tools)
- Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Wrike (or similar project management software)
Experience with similar tools is acceptable for heatmapping and PM systems, but familiarity with the specific platforms listed above is strongly preferred.
