Job Description
Our Journey at Keep
At Keep, we embarked on a mission with a powerful question: Why hasn't the banking experience caught up with the rapid pace of technology?
This continues to fuel our passion for reshaping the Canadian fintech landscape. We provide businesses with a comprehensive suite of cross-border banking services, offering everything from credit cards to deposit accounts, currency conversions, and revenue financing.
With a team of seasoned global startup veterans with successful exits, Keep is committed to leading the charge as Canada's next-generation fintech institution. Backed by VCs in the fintech sector, we're racing ahead, expanding our reach and impact like never before.
FinOps Junior Analyst
About the Role
At Keep, we're building the future of cross-border banking for Canadian businesses and our Finance Operations team is at the heart of making that work every day. As our FinOps Junior Analyst, you'll be the engine behind our daily financial operations: processing payments, handling reconciliations, and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
This role is for someone who's ready to roll up their sleeves and learn how a fast-growing fintech actually operates .You'll be the person who keeps the wheels turning while we scale. Over time, as you gain confidence and context, you'll have the opportunity to take on more complex responsibilities and even help us improve and automate the way we work.
If you're someone who gets satisfaction from operational excellence and wants to grow into a broader finance role, this is the place to do it.
Who We're Looking For
1–2 years of experience in a finance, operations, or accounting role, startup or fintech experience is a big plus
Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills, this is non-negotiable
Detail-oriented and organized, you catch errors before they become problems
A great communicator who can work cross-functionally and respond clearly to internal queries
Someone who's comfortable with operational, hands-on work, not just reporting and analysis
Familiarity with tools like HubSpot or similar platforms is a bonus, but not required
Key Responsibilities
Daily Reconciliations: Ensure all accounts are reconciled accurately and on time, maintaining the integrity of our financial records.
Ticket Resolution: Handle internal requests from customer support and account managers answering queries, resolving issues, and escalating when needed.
Payment Processing: Support daily payment operations, ensuring transactions are processed correctly and efficiently.
System Learning & Documentation: Get deep into our internal tools and processes, building the knowledge to become a reliable resource for the team.
Process Improvement: Once you're settled in, identify opportunities to improve or automate operational workflows and bring those ideas to the table.
Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with the Finance, Customer Support, and Account Management teams to keep operations running smoothly.
Why You Should Be Excited About This Role
You'll have a front-row seat to how a fast-growing fintech manages its financial operations and real ownership of making them work every day.
This role grows with you. What starts as operational work will evolve into automation projects, financial analysis, and broader responsibilities as you prove yourself.
You'll work directly with our Finance lead, learning from someone deeply embedded in how these operations were built.
Your work will directly impact the experience of our clients and the efficiency of our internal teams you'll feel it.
You'll be joining at a key moment in Keep's growth, where the things you build and improve today will shape how we operate tomorrow.
Why Join Keep?
We're obsessed with building smart, scalable solutions and we actually implement the ideas that come from the team.
Be part of a team that's rewriting the playbook for Canadian fintech.
Embrace a fully inclusive, remote-friendly culture that values diversity and work-life balance.
We move fast, but we move together collaboration and trust are core to how we operate.
Help us bring modern banking solutions to businesses and reshape what financial infrastructure looks like for Canadian companies.
Why This Might Not Be a Good Fit
If you're looking for a pure financial analysis or reporting role, this isn't it, at least not right away. The first few months are heavily operational, and that's intentional.
If you need a highly structured environment with step-by-step instructions for everything, our pace and autonomy might feel uncomfortable.
If ambiguity makes you freeze rather than adapt, our fast-moving environment will be a challenge.
If you prefer to work independently without much cross-team interaction, you'll find our collaborative culture a bit different from what you're used to.

Reference Check — We'll reach out to 1–2 professional references.
Offer — If everything aligns, we'll move quickly to get you an offer.
