Job Description
ABOUT THE TEAM
At Mural, we’re building the foundation that allows organizations to collaborate with confidence at enterprise scale. This team owns the experiences that enable organizations to securely adopt, govern, and measure the value of Mural.
This portfolio serves a single, critical customer persona Admins and IT leaders, across three tightly connected domains:
Admin & Identity Management (IAM) – Helping Admins securely manage access, configuration, and user lifecycles
Enterprise Security – Enabling IT and Security teams to meet compliance, governance, and data protection requirements
Customer Insights – Giving Admins & users clear visibility into adoption, usage, and ROI to support renewals, expansion, and value conversations
YOUR MISSION
You'll lead a portfolio of product teams owning Mural's enterprise admin, security, and insights experiences, the foundation that helps organizations adopt Mural at scale, keep their data secure and compliant, and demonstrate clear value to the business.
You'll operate at the intersection of customer trust, governance, and business impact. This is a player-coach role: you'll own the strategy, lead a team of PMs, and stay hands-on with the complex, high-stakes problems that come with building for enterprise.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Portfolio Leadership Own strategy and roadmap across Admin & IAM, Enterprise Security, and Customer Insights. Translate company priorities into clear outcomes for your teams. Keep the three domains aligned so the admin, security, and insights experiences feel integrated and intuitive — not bolted together.
Hands-On Product Work Lead discovery and definition on complex, high-impact initiatives. Act as DRI on cross-domain efforts that require tight coordination. Partner closely with Engineering and Design on problem framing, tradeoffs, and delivery sequencing — especially in areas with technical or regulatory complexity. Engage directly with enterprise customers to validate needs and inform prioritization. Step in to unblock teams, raise the quality bar, and model strong product craft. This role requires real comfort moving between portfolio-level thinking and detailed execution.
Team Leadership Lead, coach, and develop a team of PMs across multiple domains. Set clear expectations around ownership and decision-making. Build a product culture grounded in customer trust, clarity, and secure-by-design thinking.
Stakeholder Partnership Represent the voice of admins, IT, and security in product decisions. Partner with Sales, CS, and Tech Solutions on enterprise onboarding, renewals, and expansion. Work directly with customers to validate and prioritize compliance, governance, and reporting needs. Make sure what you build clearly communicates value to both buyers and users.
In addition to leading and coaching a team of Product Managers, this role is expected to remain actively hands-on in shaping strategy, discovery, and execution across the portfolio.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
6+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated leadership across multiple teams or product areas.
Strong experience building enterprise SaaS products, particularly in admin, security, IAM, or analytics domains.
Deep understanding of enterprise needs around security, compliance, and governance.
Proven ability to balance usability with control and regulatory requirements.
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and customer-facing roles.
Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex concepts into clear product direction.
A coaching mindset with a passion for growing strong, empowered product teams.
Demonstrated success balancing strategic platform investments with customer-facing outcomes.
Experience partnering with enterprise customers and security stakeholders to co-develop compliance and governance features.
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with ambiguity.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging a wide range of stakeholders.
Passion for empowering teams and creating foundational systems that drive long-term velocity and customer confidence.
The base salary for this role ranges from $216,000 - $250,000 + bonus + benefits. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
WHY YOU'LL LOVE MURAL
