Job Description

Language: Mandarin and English (preferred)At EA, we believe games are powerful because they bring together multiple ways people engage: play, watch, create, and connect. And increasingly, the biggest entertainment platforms aren’t just places to consume content — they’re places where communities build.Creator-made content is already a proven part of EA’s history — from community creation tools in Battlefield to The Gallery in The Sims 4. We believe new creative technologies and tools will expand how players engage with and contribute to our experiences, supported by thoughtful product design, safety systems, and global reach. Our focus is on enabling more players to participate in creative expression by making creation easier, safer, and more rewarding. We’re looking for a Head of Product to own product strategy and the end-to-end roadmap to deliver a trusted, high-velocity creator and player experience across priority regions—while maintaining compatibility with a shared core platform.Your mandate: drive growth (DAU, retention, creation rate), ensure a healthy economy, and embed localization, culturalization, and player safety as first-class product requirements. You will lead a cross-functional product organization, partner closely with platform engineering and core product teams, and translate global user needs into product requirements across discovery, social systems, creation workflows, marketplace, payments, identity/safety, and live operations. You will establish a data-driven, experiment-heavy culture and operate the platform with high reliability and safety-by-design.Key ResponsibilitiesSet product strategy and roadmap aligned to company objectives; define KPIs (activation, D1/D7/D30 retention, creation rate, payer conversion, safety health) and drive execution across target regions.Lead localization and culturalization across UX, content policy, events, templates, and communications; build frameworks for regional tone, norms, and age-appropriate design.Adapt creator workflows for regional platforms/devices; reduce time-to-first-publish and increase creator retention and content quality.Elevate player experience across feeds, discovery, recommendations, profiles, and community features; balance engagement with well-being and safety-by-design.Partner on economy surfaces with monetization leadership to align pricing, subscriptions/passes, marketplace design, rewards, and entitlement systems for each region.Institutionalize safety, integrity, and policy as product requirements: age/region gating, guardianship/consent, identity and eligibility, abuse prevention, and appeals flows.Ensure regulatory and store compliance across major markets (e.g., child safety, privacy regimes, age ratings, app store policies) in coordination with Legal and Payments.Own experimentation and insights: establish instrumentation, run A/B and causal tests, and operationalize decision frameworks for ranking, pricing, and UX changes.Scale platform readiness: reliability/SLOs, risk and incident playbooks, data governance, and privacy-by-design; coordinate global rollouts and phased betas.Build and lead the product organization (PMs, TPMs, Analysts) with clear operating cadence, quality bars, and cross-border collaboration practices.Represent the product externally with partners, creators, and ecosystem developers; identify integrations and APIs that accelerate creator velocity, safety, and trust.Requirements10+ years in consumer product management for UGC/games/social/media platforms; 5+ years leading multi-product or platform teams.Track record shipping global consumer experiences at scale across mobile and PC/console, with measurable impact on growth and retention.Demonstrated success adapting products for multiple regions: culturalization, localization, and policy alignment embedded in the roadmap.Depth in creator ecosystems: tooling, publishing, discovery/ranking, social systems, and marketplace/economy surfaces.Strong command of experimentation and analytics (instrumentation, cohorting, causal methods) and translating insights into priorities.Working knowledge of regional regulatory/compliance and app store requirements (e.g., privacy, child safety, age ratings, parental controls).Excellent cross-functional leadership with Engineering, Design, Trust & Safety, Payments, Legal, and Operations; adept at cross-border collaboration.Mandarin and English preferred; exceptional communication tailored to creators, executives, and external stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering, HCI, Economics, or related; MBA or equivalent experience a plus.  About Electronic ArtsWe’re proud to have an extensive portfolio of games and experiences, locations around the world, and opportunities across EA.
