Job Description

We are a profitable, mission-driven fintech company building financial solutions for people whose needs go unmet by traditional institutions – people with disabilities, older adults, and people in recovery, and the families and professionals who care for them. We get to wake up every day knowing our work has a profound impact on our customers' lives, and we run the business with the discipline to keep doing it for the long haul. That track record has earned us a spot on the Forbes Fintech 50 and the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing companies for the last two years.

High performers in search of both business and social impact usually have to choose one. This role doesn't ask you to. As Senior Manager, GTM & Business Operations, you'll operate as a shared strategic leader across growth and operations for True Link’s flagship Visa Card. You'll work with card business leaders to own cross-functional initiatives end to end — structuring the approach, driving execution, and delivering the outcome.

Our ideal candidate has likely spent 5+ years building structured problem-solving, client management, and analytical skills — first in consulting or banking, then ideally at a growth-stage startup — and is ready to apply that toolkit in a place where the impact is magnified.

What You’ll Do

  • Own a rotating portfolio of high priority strategic and operational projects, spanning growth, operations, and new verticals. The scope is intentionally broad because our priority initiatives usually cut across functions.

  • Lead projects end-to-end. You'll own the problem from first principles through delivery, setting the strategy, building the plan, aligning our team, and doing the hands-on work to drive results.

  • Power the growth engine of our flagship product. Contribute to the experimentation, architecture, and launch of new verticals and product offerings — from insight gathering and entry plan through defining infrastructure and go-to-market experimentation.

  • Partner with company leadership to carry high priority initiatives to completion. When something consequential needs a cross-functional leader to take it from a priority to resolved, you'll bring structure, momentum, and a long-term view.

  • Partner with senior leaders on strategic decision-making around growth. As we weigh major decisions around new products, partners, pricing decisions, and more, you'll bring analytical rigor and structure that shapes where we land.

Who You Are

  • 4-7+ years of relevant experience (but we weigh the quality of your thinking over the exact count).

  • You have the rigor, structured problem-solving, and sharp communication often built in management consulting or a similar environment, and the agency and speed often honed in a growth-stage startup. We care deeply about this combination of skills, but not the exact path to getting there.

  • You've owned and delivered on a topline business goal end-to-end – defining the plan, assembling the people, and managing across functions to deliver results.

  • You operate independently at a high level, with the persistence, humility, and detail orientation to match.

  • You’re a structured thinker and communicator; able to bring clarity to ambiguous situations without waiting for perfect information.

  • You learn quickly and build command of a new domain, industry, or regulatory context (and ideally already have a working foundation in financial services broadly).

  • You build trust effectively with internal teams, external partners, and clients.

  • You’re fluent with data, from defining the question correctly to learning the details of our data model to owning the analysis and communication of it. Advanced Excel/Sheets required; SQL, Python, or equivalent data-extraction skills are a strong plus.

Why You’ll Love Us

  • We operate with the pace of a startup, the rigor of a financial services firm, and the mission-orientation of a company that deeply cares about the people it serves.

  • With fifty million Americans in our addressable market, we are building for the millions of people who need our products and services across the country - and we’ve got the potential to reach many more.

  • We have the privilege of providing financial protection for vulnerable members of society and partnering with expert service providers to do so. Our customers and partners love us, and we love them back. You can sleep soundly every night knowing you are doing a great thing by getting our services into more hands.

  • We treat one another like we treat our customers: with respect and dignity. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are cultural values we take very seriously, and we welcome and recruit team members of all backgrounds and identities.

  • We offer competitive wages, health, dental & vision coverage, paid parental leave, 12 paid holidays each year, your own professional development budget, and generous vacation.

  • The majority of us work from home from all across the US, and we enjoy connecting virtually for laughs with teammates and meeting up in-person: we have small offices in SF and Kingston NY, and we plan team get-togethers around the country.

If you are a high-performing person who wants to join a diverse, inclusive team and use your skills to make a real impact in people’s lives, we invite you to apply to join our team.
