Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager & Team Lead to join our team. In this role, you will lead large projects end-to-end, make sure things move forward on time, and keep quality at a high level. You’ll also support and guide other project managers, share your experience, and help the team grow. You’ll work closely with a group of experienced PMs, learning from each other and improving how we work together. Our team mainly works on projects in travel, insurance, logistics, and public health.
In this role, you will
- Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget
- Define project objectives, develop detailed project plans, and track progress
- Communicate project expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
- Manage project resources, including internal teams and external vendors
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure smooth communication within the team
- Monitor and report on project performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Document project activities, decisions, and outcomes
- Supervise and mentor other project managers
What you will bring
- Extensive IT project management experience with a proven track record of successfully leading complex projects
- Strong understanding of web development processes, methodologies, and best practices, along with solid knowledge of project management approaches such as Agile, Waterfall
- Confident stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and teams and keep everyone aligned
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and make sound decisions when challenges arise
- Hands-on experience with project management tools, as well as project budget tracking and resource utilization
- Experience in a Lead PM or supervisory role
- Fluency in both Lithuanian and English
