Job Description

Technical Program Managers operate within the Engineering organization and have technical knowledge that enables them to manage company-wide programs, guide cross-team projects, and accelerate the execution of a team’s roadmap. Consumer Revenue and Revenue Infra are the teams at the heart of premium experiences at Discord. You’ll be working closely with the teams responsible for products such as Nitro, Shop, and Orbs. Your work will be vital in delivering a high-value premium experience, without compromising the core experience for our free users all while maintaining a compliant business. This is a Staff TPM role, reporting to the Senior Manager of TPM, responsible for developing and driving revenue projects and compliance programs. What You'll Be Doing
- Leverage your strong customer-centric mindset to help build and run our Revenue compliance program
- Develop a holistic and enduring ownership model for our code, products, and programs that allows us to quickly meet compliance needs
- Work closely Engineering, Product, and Legal as well as other cross-functional engineering teams to implement solutions to support our Orbs economy
- Partner with Revenue leadership to identify, develop, and run programs that mature our Revenue products and systems while staying compliant
- Work with external third-party providers to understand requirements and constraints for systems integration
- Manage multiple complex projects, often with competing timelines and resource need
What you should have
- 10+ years of Technical Program Management experience working with fast paced product or infrastructure engineering teams
- Experience working on programs related to e-commerce platforms and monetizable products (e.g. payments, wallets, check-out, billing infra, etc.) at a similarly-sized company
- Worked with Engineering, Product, and Legal leadership to implement compliance requirements or meet regulatory needs, especially related to payment processing
- Knowledge and deep experience in technical program management methodologies, working in ambiguous spaces, and bringing structure to work
- Experience moving technical or engineering programs from concept to completion and promoting the impact using metrics, growth examples, value etc
- Can break down complex challenges into workable components and make continuous progress towards solving a problem vs. trying to boil the ocean

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $248,000 to $279,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, or benefits.
