We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.
What You Will Do
As a Senior Business Operations Manager, you will drive strategic programs and operational excellence across Scopely’s Live Games portfolio. This role sits at the center of a highly cross-functional ecosystem, partnering with Central Tech (Playgami), Live Ops Automation, Marketing, Product, and other key stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-impact initiatives. This role is the operational bridge between our game teams and central teams.
You will own the orchestration and execution of critical programs—including Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) initiatives—while also leading broader business operations efforts that enable our game teams to operate more efficiently, innovate faster, share knowledge, and maximize player impact. This is a highly visible role requiring strong leadership, operational rigor, and the ability to align diverse teams around shared goals.
- Own and drive the strategic program roadmap across Live Games, spanning D2C initiatives, Central Tech (Playgami), Live Ops Automation, Marketing, Product, and Knowledge Sharing
- Lead cross-functional program execution, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, dependencies, and outcomes across multiple teams and regions
- Build and maintain integrated operational plans (e.g., JIRA, Airtable, or equivalent) to track progress across complex, concurrent initiatives
- Partner with Playgami and Central Tech teams to align on platform capabilities, roadmaps, and rollout strategies impacting Live Games
- Drive initiatives that improve Live Ops efficiency, including automation, ML/AI tooling, and process optimization across the portfolio
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to ensure cohesive planning and execution of key initiatives and campaigns
- Establish and scale knowledge-sharing frameworks, enabling best practice adoption and operational consistency across game teams
- Identify, track, and resolve risks, blockers, and interdependencies across programs
- Lead executive-level reporting, delivering clear, actionable insights on program status, risks, and opportunities
- Facilitate key forums (e.g., business reviews, program updates, deep dives) to drive alignment and decision-making
- Build high trust and productive relationships across game teams & central teams
- Continuously improve business operations processes, tools, and governance frameworks to scale impact across the Live Games portfolio
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in consulting, banking, business operations, program management, or product operations in a complex, cross-functional environment
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, multi-stakeholder programs across global teams
- Experience working within free-to-play gaming (preferred)
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a bias for action
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes
- Analytical thinker with experience analyzing and reporting on data & KPIs (Free-to-play KPI expertise a plus)
- Passionate gamer (mobile free-to-play a plus)
Bonus Points
- Experience with Live Ops, game publishing, or live service ecosystems
- Familiarity with automation tools, workflow optimization, or operational scaling initiatives
- Experience working with Central Tech or platform teams (e.g., payments, identity, CRM systems)
- Strong understanding of D2C, mobile gaming, platform ecosystems, and live game operations
- Experience leveraging AI tools to drive business process & project management
