About The Role

G2 is looking for an exceptional Senior Product Manager to join our Data team and help shape the future of G2’s data products. You will play a pivotal role in discovering, developing, and delivering new data products and offerings that drive value for our customers and partners. Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, you will help build out G2's position as a leader in B2B SaaS data by expanding our data library, developing new business intelligence tools, and exploring innovative data applications, including agent-based solutions.

This role requires someone who is deeply curious about data, obsessed with customer problems, and biased toward action. You'll partner directly with our strategic partners (Salesforce, HubSpot, AWS, and others), engage with customers to understand their evolving data needs, and translate those insights into products that ship.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Own the roadmap for G2’s data products by synthesizing market opportunities, customer feedback, and business goals to shape a winning product strategy and identify new data sets to fill gaps.

  • Engage directly with customers to understand their data challenges, conduct discovery interviews, analyze usage patterns, and turn insights into actionable product opportunities as the customer’s voice within our teams.

  • Collaborate with key partners (Salesforce, HubSpot, AWS, and others) to identify integration opportunities, lead co-development, and drive go-to-market strategies, expanding the reach and value of G2’s data offerings.

  • Lead the creation of new business intelligence tools and AI-powered data applications, identifying ways to leverage agentic AI for innovative data solutions and automated insight delivery.

  • Communicate the data product roadmap, priorities, and requirements clearly to leadership and stakeholders, serving as the go-to expert for all data-related initiatives and fielding feedback and questions.

  • Define detailed requirements and project scope for new data products by balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and business goals, and drive rapid iteration with engineering and design to ship quickly and often.

  • Track key B2B data and analytics trends, performing competitive analysis and market research to inform positioning and future product direction.

  • Use both quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions, define meaningful success metrics, build dashboards, and run experiments to test hypotheses and improve product performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

We realize applying for jobs can feel daunting at times. Even if you don’t check all the boxes in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.

  • 7-8+ years of product management experience, with a focus on data products, analytics platforms, or B2B SaaS

  • Deep data fluency, including data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns

  • Proven track record in shipping data products and acting on customer discovery insights

  • Experience collaborating with strategic partners and cross-functional teams

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Proficiency with agile methodologies

What Can Help Your Application Stand Out:

  •  Experience building or managing data products, data marketplaces, or business intelligence tools

  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in product development, including agentic AI or LLM-based solutions

  • Background in B2B software, sales tech, or marketing tech industries

  • Experience working with enterprise customers and understanding their data and integration needs

  • Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and governance considerations

  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Amplitude, Looker, or similar
