Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:Expectations: • Experience in software testing (e.g., using tools such as Selenium, Postman, TestRail/Qase, or Jenkins/GitLab CI).• Strong knowledge of PCs (especially gaming peripherals).• Proficiency in English communication.• Work with cross functional teams (in US and Taiwan).• Experience with mobile/web automation frameworks such as Appium or Playwright is a plus.Responsible for: • Develop new Automation scripts for new and upcoming software projects.• Improve/update software automation test cases to current standards.• Able to handle project independently.Essential Skills and Experience:Not all skills below are required — we value strong fundamentals and a willingness to learn.Technical Skills:• Comfortable scripting with Python and/or bash shell scripting.• Familiar with version control (git) and bug tracking tools (Jira, Qase).• Exposure to automation frameworks (Appium, Playwright, Selenium) or AI/ML libraries/APIs is a plus.Soft Skills:• Problem-solving and attention to detail.• Strong collaboration and communication skills.• Adaptability and ownership in handling tasks independently.Experience:• Experience in software testing or automation projects (academic, personal, or professional).Nice-to-Have:• Familiarity with AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, Gemini, Codex/Copilot) to write, review, or debug scripts.• Using AI to assist with test case generation, test data creation, or analyzing test logs/results.• Basic knowledge of AI models or local/on-device AI.• Applying AI to hardware-based testing (e.g., Arduino, STM32, Raspberry Pi).• Awareness of responsible/ethical AI use.
