Job Description

Location: Columbus, OH
Position Type: Remote
Contract Length: Long-term with annual extensions

Position Overview:
This role is responsible for supporting the quality assurance process by designing, executing, and managing testing activities across the software development lifecycle. The position works closely with cross-functional teams to validate requirements, identify defects, and ensure high-quality deliverables in an Agile environment.

Required Skills:

  • 5 years of experience in manual software testing, including test case design and execution

  • 5 years of experience using ALM Octane or similar workflow and defect tracking tools

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working within debt collection systems or environments

  • Experience with FICO/Jonas C&R Software Debt Manager

Duties:

  • Manage test runs, schedules, jobs, and testing calendars to ensure timely execution

  • Review software requirements and user stories to develop effective test scenarios

  • Design and develop manual test scripts aligned with business and technical needs

  • Execute system, integration, regression, and other testing cycles

  • Identify, document, and track software defects, inconsistencies, and issues

  • Produce detailed documentation for defects, test results, and overall testing activities

  • Prepare and present comprehensive testing reports to the design team

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients and vendors, to understand product requirements

  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, gaps, and potential risks

  • Deliver timely reviews, test designs, solutions, and supporting documentation

  • Apply quality engineering best practices throughout the Agile development lifecycle

  • Perform additional related duties as assigned
