JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Manager, QA Architect, is responsible for assisting in test strategy, designing test cases, and performing manual and automated testing across the digital banking ecosystem. This role is a part of a team of quality assurance specialists and works closely with other departments, including Product, Operations, and Business Units, to ensure seamless quality of systems and processes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be a key individual contributor to QA project teams
- Ensure adherence to standard quality practices and processes
- Conduct end-to-end testing to validate business, technical, and functional requirements
- Design and execute manual and automated test scripts
- Run automated tests, analyze the results, and troubleshoot any failures
- Recommend, integrate, and optimize testing and AI tools and frameworks to support scalable and maintainable quality solutions into STLC
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology, and recommend new technologies and solutions as appropriate
- Ensure that projects are executed in compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies
- Support data management and ensures timely delivery of testing milestones
- Identify and mitigates operational risks during system testing
- Manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Provide status updates
- Document and communicate risks associated with test strategies and plans
- Work with offshore team
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree required; Computer Science Degree preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of QA/testing experience, including 4+ years specifically in test automation required
- Proficient in C# with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation
- Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, RestSharp, Swagger)
- Knowledge of mobile automation for both iOS and Android platforms (Appium preferred)
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter
- Exposure to containerization tools (e.g., Docker) for test environments
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal and external partners, maintaining ongoing communications and expectation alignment
- Experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a bank or other financial institution
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Strong technical skills, with a deep understanding of technology systems and integration methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Outstanding problem-solving and time management skills
- Self-motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented
- Adaptable and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Can work independently and within a team; solution-oriented with a collaborative approach
The pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. $110,000 (entry level qualifications) to $135,000 (highly experienced).
