WE ARE HIRING : Senior QA Engineer – Remote (Asia Pacific)

Location: Remote (Asia Pacific)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and optimize testing strategies, while driving automation and continuous improvement in quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and test plans
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
  • Perform manual testing for complex and high-priority features
    Identify, document, and track software defects and ensure timely resolution
  • Collaborate with development, product, and design teams to ensure quality delivery
  • Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies
    Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and reviews
  • Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system stability
    Mentor and guide junior QA team members

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA testing, including at least 2 years in a senior role.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong experience in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java or Python
  • Solid understanding of manual testing methodologies
    Experience working in Agile environments
  • Knowledge of performance and load testing tools
    Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman or similar)
  • Exposure to security testing practices
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Kubernetes)
  • Experience in database testing (SQL / NoSQL)
