Job Description

NVIDIA is looking for an outstanding Software Engineer to join our SIMX Software Verification Team. You will be part of a team developing tests and platforms for next-generation NIC simulation, work closely with SW R&D teams, and gain a deep understanding of building advanced networking simulation solutions. You will lead feature verification from design through implementation to framework integration, develop robust infrastructure, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This position offers the opportunity to have real impact in a dynamic, technology-focused company impacting product lines that empower the most advanced data centers in the world. We have crafted a team of outstanding people stretching around the globe, whose mission is to push the frontiers of what is possible today and define the platform for the future of computing.What you’ll be doing:  Work closely with developers to design, implement and execute unit, functional, and performance tests for new componentsDevelop a verification environment and infrastructure in C/C++/Python to validate product functionality and performanceAnalyse coverage measures to identify verification gaps and to show progress toward product development and releasesWrite all types of coverage measures for test scenarios and corner casesTake end-to-end ownership of system and software verification using advanced verification methodologies.  What we need to see:  B.Sc. in Computer sciences, software/Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience4+ years of experience in software developmentStrong programming skills in C/C++ and Python  Excellent debugging and analytical abilitiesCreative, self-motivated, and results-driven approach, with a high sense of ownership Ways to stand out from the crowd:  Ability to quickly adapt to new technology and go deep into new areasKnowledge of Virtualization, especially with KVM/QEMU is an advantageUnderstanding of networking protocols – Ethernet, InfiniBand is an advantageWith competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, we are widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
